Just for future knowledge. The only difference between the 2 and 3 wire switch is the 3 wire is for machines with a drum light. You can use the 2 wire in a 3 but the drum light will not work. Hope this helps!

I prefer old school. They clean better. If you want these front loading pieces of garbage that I have, happily trade you for one of your old school sets.
