Application of Equi-Pak CS Pour Pad

After finishing the nailing and clinching of this front foot, Bobby Menker, CJF APF-I applies the Vettec Hoof Care Equi-Pak CS to the bottom of the foot. This is a cushion, support material that has copper sulfate mixed in to help minimize the risk of thrush developing. If the hoof is dry and has a shoe on it, you can apply this material without a pad or mesh. Hank Chisholm, CJF who did the last shoeing of Annabelle and Bobby both felt the sole needed the additional support of the Vettec products.
