I am a registered nurse in SL. I have eligibility >65 with ielts 6,6,6,6 for 491 visa. But my job catogory authorized by ANMC . They requires ielts each band 7 & degree for nurses . I haven't that requirment. I have only deploma with 14 years experience . Do you have any idea about it? May I have a chance?

Hi Chinthaka, thanks for reaching out. Yes that's correct. You need a degree and four 7s in IELTS. Only option seems to be completing the final year in a bachelor of nursing degree by getting credit for your diploma and then apply for PR. It s best if you could complete this study in SL if there is a chance. or else come here as a student once you are here you will have a world of opportunity as a nurse. Wishing you the best!

Thank you brother! Following 3 years from the date of 491 visa grant, they can apply for 191 visa (PR) by showing 3 tax files (for 3 financial years). So I recommend anyone to pick the first chance you get (regardless on whether it is 491 or 190) rather than waiting only for 190 and 189

Eka itin as you said it’s a personal choice. I haven’t lived in Canada so I really can’t comment. Why I chose Australia is because of the weather and my relatives. May be Canada is a better place for your job as it’s in North America closer to Silicon Valley.
