In this How To, we show how to apply Ceramic Coating over Xpel Ultimate Stealth Paint Protection Film. Using Damon Jones" Porsche Macan, we show step by step how to do it. Damon is a car aficionado and Porsche custom builder. He wanted the Stealth film Ceramic Coated and thats why he came to us. We also made him a custom hood emblem using carbon fiber. Have you run into problems with fusion streaking or smearing on stealth?

I thought Xpel stealth was already hydrophobic, no?

All paint protection films exhibit more hydrophobicity than raw paint. But XPEL stealth is not marketed as being a hydrophobic PPF. To increase this property we like to coat it with XPEL fusion plus. XPEL does have a gloss finish hydrophobic PPF called XPEL Ultimate Fusion

So you stealth it to give it the no shine look and then you coated to get the 'shine'.....
