Asking God about this person BEFORE entering into a relationship. Not every Christian person is suited to be with you. The Lord knows best and taking it up in prayer is definitely the best choice.

The signs 1.If the relationship is helping and hurting your relationship with God 2. If you feel closer to God when you're with that person. Basically When you're with someone god bless you to be with ! 3.when you feel free to be yourself and not pressure to be someone you're not! 4.if the relationship is stretching you in healthy ways 5.if you can see a healthy future /ministry with that person

Codelingo hey I saw your question I don't know if I'm qualified to answer this question but when I was in a relationship which was year ago! I dated this guy for 8 months but there were a lot of things that weren't working even though we tried and we kept having red flags but we decided to move forward. Which was not good! But with this video these are good sign to know if you're in a good path relational wise. The last sign (#5) is vital because what God plans to do between you and your future spouse is important. You want to equally yoked to do Gods work together! This amazing guy I met say something very important to me is that God will is what he wants for his life. God will speak to you and show you his will for your life! Even if that means ending that relationship! Side note the day before that relationship ended I ask god if he didn't want us to be together to end it. The next day the guy ended it ! Remember it may hurt but God heals and restore I know I'm someone future wife But have to keep growing and planting myself in Gods word! You must have patiences If he care for the birds and flowers he'll care for you ! So don't worry! My favorite saying/verse The best is yet to come 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼

I’m 36 yet I feel so disappointed in myself. 😞 I’m just starting to walk with Jesus and I feel like I’m here walking alone. I am talking to someone online that seems to be a follower of Jesus but because of a lot of bad relationships I feel like I have to hide a lot about myself when I really just want to tell the person this is who I am, this is what I want and I want to include Jesus in every conversation. I spent 6 years in a relationship and it made it so much harder to connect with God. I’ve also let God know that I want to get married, have kids, be a missionary, help out my community, join a church, etc.
@mahtavaupea14453 жыл бұрын
Mariah, don't ever feel disappointed in yourself for anything. This walk with Christ is never easy but one thing that devil will make you feel is that you're alone and you're not. Please don't be afraid that you had bad relationships in the past you feel you have to hide yourself. Never limit yourself because of those bad experiences, and Im sorry you went through them. Talk to the person you're talking to about what you would like to share because you should be free to tell them who you are because you are Very unique and valuable. God knows the desires of your heart and work with him and he will grant them to you in his perfect timing. I wont hold much more of your time but tell you there's going to be someone who will love you and appreciate you for you. If this person isn't the one, just know Jesus has better for you sis. God bless you sis. Stay strong and encouraged in Jesus :)

He is checking all the boxes. Except he lost vision for his own life due to trauma and just ungodly soulties. I decided to pause contact until he figured out things for himself. Not quite sure if he thinks he still has a chance. Told him, I love him and that I would wait but it surely feels as if I am offering my Isaac to God. I receive strength from the fact, that God can raise anything from the dead. And if it's not meant, I am safe in God anyways. He is my eternal bridegroom. And his very very good regardless of my feelings of discouragement and doubt. He makes everything perfect.

recently i met a woman that was christian and u believe in god and I'm not religous necessarily but i have christian values of course raised that way and she is almost 27 I'm 19 I'm a virgin i never looked for love but then one day i just met her she wasn't what i expected i have become a better person we tried to be just friends I'm an ambivert and she is an introvert and i tried texting her that was a first asking her if she had feelings cause she definitely was she showed it but she said she found me funny and interesting and she said she was seeing someone and i said good to know she asked if i want to be friends i said i try to be friends with everybody we both have a bad past and what pushed us away was the fear that we were being manipulated i told her I'm scared she was manipulating me and she showed her fear that i was manipulating her we are still nice to each other but this experience i told her to keep her distance and we both need time this experience has helped me grow me and her are so alike yet so distant because we were both scared of love i am more honest and straightforward but I'm not as physically loving as i used to be this feeling of love truly wanting to be with her she said you can't force a conversation and i said you can't resist it either i told her I'm not leaving you you will have to push me away and we tore down walls that we both had she was more physically loving and compassionate i believe as in she is more willing of intimacy in the physical sense while i am more open to intimacy in the physical sense i found myself continuing to ask where is this going are we friends she is hinting at dates etc. but when we stopped and blocked each other we said no hard feelings but i did confess my feelings for her she never did exactly confess her feelings she didn't want to open up we were using each other's lingo finishing each other's sentences when we just met it was a few days and I can't help but ever since i met this female she is the most beautiful girl ever to me when before that would not have been the case ever since she choose to sit close to me and be so nice too me i even said she was to nice she brought out this lovey dovey side in me this love side in me again she didn't want to talk about her past i usually speak what's on my mind i try to be be grateful for challenges in life but i know this is no coincidence that we met we met to tear down each other's walls that were guarding our hearts i have come closer to god and in this season of waiting i am at peace i will do my best i know the next opportunity i get to make up and say hey we both were pretty insecure and just let it go from there the devil was keeping us from love scaring us away i believe i told her I'm not in your league i will make you in my leage she understood but then i backpedaled and said i can live without you i don't plan to pursue these feelings it just happened but we got into arguments over the dumbest things we have let our fear consume us but in two weeks at least i will see her again if god wants it to be so that moment i will know my move

Very good brother, your a wise young man! Unfortunately I got 5 crosses plus many more, I made a very big mistake marriaging my wife, I was a young Christian and believed God was steering me towards her, now after 7+ year of praying and trying to make it work.... I can now look back and see that God was trying to steer me away! Moved way to fast if only I was more patient and mature in my walk and waited I would have seen she wasn’t for me! Move slowly take your time let God show you! Lesson learnt thank you Jesus.... forgive me ☺️ Blessings!😊

I’m 17 and have been dating the same girl for the past three -ish- years. It can be difficult at times to know just how serious to take our relationship. We’re both working on finding work, I’m working on getting my license, and we’re still only 17. But at the same time, we’ve known each other for practically our entire lives, we go on mission trips with each other (and our youth group) every summer, we both love God, and we can definitely see an awesome future together. She’s expressed that she’s eager to support me in whatever God’s called me to do, I plan on going into Deaf ministry, becoming a licensed interpreter, and getting teaching credentials. She’s strong in her faith and has a amazing love for the Lord. My worry is that I’m still uncertain if this is what I need to be doing or that I’m just worrying too much. Your video about making sure your intimacy levels are the same as your comment levels raised quite a few questions for me. Namely, what’s a good way to know how committed you are to a person? What’s a good way to tell?

Hello Mark I would love to thank you for this video according to Christian teaching we are taught to pray for partners n been praying for a partner n the qualities I want in my future husband. And here comes a guy he z interested in me n wants marriage so I tell him u know the Christian ways to pray to God to give us confirmations or signs to prove whether we r meant for each other or it's God's will for us to be together. We have been having prayer and fasting about us but God is not speaking anything to both of us. So the time I was interacting with him I liked him and fell in love with him so we are in a relationship n courtship the time I have been with him he has all the qualities I wanted in my future husband I feel at peace and comfortable with or around him. Infact Wat u said in your video I see them too cause he loves God we pray together he encourages me spiritually he rebukes he supports ministries within me I feel it that he is the right man for me my instincts tells me he is my husband but the problem he wants God to speak to me or him whether in a dream vision or hear his voice he wants us to do God's will but not our own will. So Wat advice do u give me I need a counseling about this cause he truely loves me and I love him too but God hasn't spoken to us yet please need help Thanks God bless you as you help me

Josh T make sure you base your relationship on Jesus in very practical ways, such as - - 1. being in some way accountable to an older couple in the Lord who have a good and stable walk with Jesus, asking them to pray for you, and giving them permission to ask you both how things are going. 2. spend time before you date on committing your ways and activities to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. 3. spend time in God's word together and take time to discuss it when travelling here or there. Make Jesus the centrepiece for every date, not just on sundays. 4. ask each other how their own walk with the Lord is going, and pray earnestly for one another daily. If you build yoru relationship firmly in this way, then you will have a good start if the Lord leads you into marriage. Build up your spirits in the faith of Jesus so that you are better equipped to rule over the lusts of eye and flesh and all that is in the world - 1 John 2:14-19; Genesis 4:7.

Another great one, brother. By no means an all-inclusive "litmus test" (is there such a thing? lol), but it does stress 5 of the most important, Biblically-sound, and practical connection points and fruit indicators! If these 5 are there, it's very likely the other things will be falling into place as the Lord leads and the two people grow together. Likewise, if these aren't present, the other things won't make much difference in living out a relationship that truly honors God and is to be: spiritually, emotionally, and psychologically healthy for both people involved. I know you talked briefly about how difficult times in a relationship does not always mean that it's the wrong relationship. Can you maybe make a video that goes more in depth about this topic and about your personal experiences? What were the challenges that you had to go through and how you and Bethany overcame them? I know a big issue for me is that at the first sight of a problem/conflict, my immediate reaction/response is to run and not work through it because it's too hard. I base it a lot off of feelings and not logic. Meaning, I believe I'm in the wrong relationship because it's not easy at all times. I would like to hear and understand how to better cope with this, if possible. Thank you!

Hi it's the same way with me as well... It's sometimes so hard that we don't know sometime whever God is with us of not... You use to always argue every time and this is becoming so unpeaceful... But when i remembered the dream i had about us about what God shown me I'm like should i continu to trust or just give up
@ianmcdonald86485 жыл бұрын
Renee Fries I used to be a person who would easily run from difficulties; this is what both of my parents did in their own way. So I had that as an example For many years in my marriage of 41 years (wife has now gone to be with Jesus), I was very insecure, and self centred even though I wanted to be Christ-centered and earnestly desreid to be like Him. I was very backward to develope any brotherly relationships with godly men, so as to pray together and help each other in life's journey. This was all born out of fear, fear of losing something precious; fear of failing; fear of losing face, and so on. This kind of attitude flowed out into the broader family of God, and it did cause some problems. But back in my early years of marriage I was made aware of the need to ask the Lord to 'Change ME!' - not change my wife so much as I had been earnestly praying. Today I still pray on that line - which is very scriptural. Slowly I began to see changes as the years passed by. I had so much to learn and still have. Now I am more willing to talk things through on many levels, and less willing to run. I would recommend that you put the suggestion out to your man 'could we pray together about this?' and then pray that he will join in prayer for the matter/s at hand, and include reading Scripture together... on the knees can help. Then commend your man for taking the lead in the matter, and ask if 'can we do it again'? Also, human love does and will fail no matter how noble and virtuous it is. But God's love will not fail - there is never a drought or famine of the supply of God's love. Ask God to fill you with His love for your man. If you are no married and simply dating, and if he is not willing to pray and read Scripture with you, then perhaps you need to re evaluate your relationship. If you are married, pray and pray and pray till God gives you 'both' a breakthrough, and pray to maintain it - pray without ceasing, with many thanksgivings.

What if the signs were there at the beginning and "confirmed" someone being the one, but then as time went on, these signs were not there and the other person began not seeking the Lord, wanting to go to church, and falling back into old sin without remorse or effort spiritually? Should that be enough to confirm that they are no longer the one or never were?

This is a very good advice esp fr introverted like me. Tell us how to find the one for an introvert person too who is strong in his relationship with God./ a good christian. Esp like in my circle..a christian guy quite hard to make move on us although we have some the chemistry. When both people are too scared to make move it hurts and sometimes we just ignored it. And one im too confused also they keep asking God whether are /thatperson is the chosen one God choose for him or her. Thats what i feel is happening in my churchcircle including among the young adults😧

He's a new Christian and accepted Christ at church when we were friends then two weeks later he asked me to be his girlfriend... sometimes work or his family has stopped him from coming to church. Aty Lifrgroup he thourght that the people don't like him and he felt uncomfortable. How do I know where he stands with God? I bought him a devotional daily book and he has been reading slot of it... how do I know? its awarkward as he is a really nice guy... I'm nervous... we have both had a really busy week and worked late and have not seen eachother in 5 days.

Just take your time. That's the point of dating. YOu will find answers through dating. Once you get more evidence for where he stands with God and how you two fit together, then you will be at peace to know what you need to do

God has been correcting me... Through my mom and spiritual mom and also the Bible - Holy Spirit and curch sermons.... was showing me to stop being so pushy as I was being super pushy and bossy and forceful about church and spiritual life... I have decided to be more patient and pray for growth and not force him too.... He has been surprising me and talking about his prayer life and church and relationship with God so that's great as last week I was so super anxious about it and the enemy was using that a lot...

What advice can you give in dating when the person that's in love with you has addictions"pills" but is trying to get closer to God. Is it a bad idea to try to stick it out and continue to grow with God? I'm newly renewed and saved in my faith.
@ApplyGodsWordcomMarkBallenger6 жыл бұрын
Hi Darlene Bris, i would say in most cases it is not wise to date someone going through that. You may become an enabler too. Also, this person should be solely focused on recovery. Once he is sober then perhaps getting back together is the right move. But you don't want to wait for someone like this too long bc it could be a never ending addiction. It just depends on the situation.

As a recovered addict, I would advise you to maybe date at a distance (like not super often, kinda casually), make clear boundaries and learn all you can about manipulation tactics, pray for them often, and let them know in a loving and understanding way that this problem is keeping you from getting closer. Explain why it is bad without being judgey. (They will probably feel defensive so make sure they understand you care and it’s not an attack.) Maybe if they show no effort to make a change (ONGOING effort...hence manipulation...easy to appear to want to change to get the other person not to leave or whatever then go right back) then have another talk with them and let them know you really like them but you feel you cannot be with them at this time. Let them know that you hope they can conquer the addiction and you’ll be praying for them and would love to see them again when they have sought God’s help and healing on that. We do get better, but often not until we lose someone or some bad event happens. It’s possible that they will without you having to leave, even that you could be the one to help push them to it. It’s possible. More likely is the pain of you leaving them would wake them up to how bad the problem is.

please Mark. I got married to a man when we were not born again and so we had sexual inter course when we meet. I didn't seek God whole hearted because I felt I was in love with him despite all advice. 3years down the line after receiving a lots of verbal abuses without giving up, now I became born again, I began to feel I don't have a future with this man. He won't leave me either. What do I do?

Thank you always for the work you put into the ministry God has called you to do. What if she believes that women can preach and lead over men and I disagree with her on that? I dont wanna start an argument on wether or not a woman should preach and lead in church. Rather that we have that essential disagreement even if I am wrong and she is right about it. The question is, is it God's will even with this type of disagreement? is the yoke truly equal? thanks God Bless

Question: I believe I heard God say "not that one" when dating a certain man. He said he was a believer but he had no problem having sex. Neither did I apparently, although it did weigh very heavy on my soul. I got pregnant, we got married and the marriage was horrible..he treated me pretty awful..but because I was reallu emotional abouy it I fought back. He then started call me Satan and Jezebel and threatened to divorce me. One thing he said ALOT to me throughout the marriage and before was that "He was going to ruin me for all other men". It took me 7years to actully find out what that word curse actually meant. I was shocked...I honestly feel that I married someone with all kinfs of unhealthy mental problems...I almost died becomih suicidal and self hating...WELL. he is still around even though we are seperated and my pastor is trying to reconcile us..I truly do not truat this person and do not feel yoked with then anymore...I feel extreme fear of my whole church judging me for marrying this man and getting married to him while being pregnant...I already feel the sting. He rants on facebook using scripture(I feel he does this purely to look spiritual) I never now what kind of person I am going to get with him..I also noticed that every Fathers day(we just had) Mothers day and Thanksgiving and Christmas, he is awfully mean to me. Especially on Fathers and Mothers day. This mothers day, he made no effort to call me(we are seperated right now) But then on Fathers day last week when I showed up to church just on time..he glared at me and asked if I was punishing him. He said he had been there since 7:30..Asked why didnt you just call me he had no answers just rude and short. I am asking for prayer becasue I believe that I am in disobediance to God staying in any kind of relationship with him. I have posted my issue more than once in different comment sections but no one has responded yet. Hoping for so wisdom on how to handle this..I do pray..i have forgiven him. It was hell. I cannot picture putting my heart through it again ever.

Wow, what made u go ahead after hearing *"not that one"* ?

Acharich Speaks there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. I made a mistake and didn't listen to God i fell into a trap when i was 15 with an older man who pretended to give his life to God. He was a deceiver and tried to destroy me. God rescued me and cleared it up for me when the man tried to force me to abort. I'm glad she's separated from the abuse. God will help you. keep praying. He will give you wisdom and strength
@acharich6 жыл бұрын
@@bellag2864 there certainly isn't any condemnation in Him.. Just wondered what made her still go ahead, because many hope to hear the audible voice of God but don't.. May we learn from our mistakes, and those of others.. 🙏🏾♥️

This sadly sounds way too familiar. Fortunately I haven't been in this situation but I have seen others go through it. It's unfortunate you married someone who was like this and they didn't keep and value your trust in them... It does sound narcissistic and if so remember all of these actions are from choices where they know you will be hurt and either don't care or want to see you in pain and react so do them anyway. Beware of empty promises and if you do decide to give him a chance again have an extended time with him focused on conversation and activities (no sex or living together where he can trap or overpower your wants (especially mentally)). If you do this for 6 months or longer without giving him a time you should be able to see if he has changed or was faking it. Good luck and I pray everything goes well for you and you can overcome your fears. Sidenote- I wasn't saying you should get back together it is just a what if scenario. ♡ Don't stay someone you don't feel safe for yourself or your child.
