This was amazing, I currently sold my car to get out of debt completely, I’m debt free! but have no car and using Uber to get around, I was tempted on several occasions to take out a car loan but God has closed the door several times when I went to go apply for a loan or refinance, the other morning I stumbled on the Bible verse in proverbs the borrow is a slave to the lender, and from there on I knew God was telling me something..like for me to save up for a car so I won’t have to go back in debt, it’s tough because I live in Los Angeles and you need a car here! but I trust in him 🙏🏾

Have you tried Express Drive with Lyft? I was just researching it for myself and I came across your comment. You need to drive a lot but you save instead of getting a rental car outright - and costs less to rent and drive for rideshare than actually buying a ride. Can use them for personal use too, just have to drive too. The pay isnt great - but if you have no car otherwise you're basically getting a free rental.

You are on target when you say, it is a NO from God when the more you pursue it, the more distant you will feel from God, even if it initially appears right. Opposed to something God has allowed which is difficult, but it will in the end draw you closer to God. I have experienced both and learned some valuable lessons in it.

1:30 That is the tricky part. I had such a dilemma just last month with making a decision about whether to move to a different city or remain in my current one. Some unexpected difficulties arose in regards to moving to the other city by the time that I would have had to move there by. Additionally, God revealed to me some ways to expand my life and opportunities in my current city that I hadn't thought of before. In the end, I felt led to stay put.

One thing I have been through in my life is when I decided to really follow Christ all trouble and hell came against me. I now have lost my marriage, and my house. However I have not lost the most precious thing to me, being is Christ's will. Looking back it really shows that sometimes when you decide to obey God expect fierce resistance, it won't be an easy come to you, but go and do as God desires of you. Sometimes it takes just bold faith and being willing to be made a fool to follow after Jesus. Something God told me last year " Stop building your kingdom and start building mine"

I liked the example of buying a car. It's not mentioned in the Bible, and it is not a sin. So you have to discern and consult with God whether you personally should or should not buy it. Another example I think is relevant is online dating. I know it's not a sin, but I still feel like God is saying no. The verse of Psalm 46:10, Be still and know that He is God, always comes to my mind.

God spoke to me thrice about my withdrawing bf. Once before the break- up, instructing me not to keep tjinking of him. God then went on to pinpoint the red flags i preferred to overlook. Then, after my bf broke with me, God reinforced the earlier No by showing how my bf had exacted irresponsibly, arrogantly and like a weak person. This happened when i was almost asleep. Thank you for posting this. I recently had to get some dental work done, and to be honest I wasn't sure if I should go ahead with it or if I should pay off some of what I owe for college. The no to use it on my tuition wasn't clear at first, but as I sought Him about it the discomfort rose, and eventually I got the impression that I was lacking in trust, and once I got the work done I no longer felt that discomfort.

I needed this so much. My husband and I feel called to adopt/foster. We have tried for 6 years and have been through so much heartache and doors closed. I finally stopped trying. It has been so hard. Then we had naysayers saying the closed doors were God saying no. A year has gone by and both of us still feel called to adopt. We have tried to forget this because it hurts, but the desire is even more intense. During the hard work and heartbreak of trying, it never made me feel farther from God. My walk and faith deepened. After listening to this I don't think it was God saying no, but a season that was a faith builder, character builder, perseverance builder, and eventually a testimony. I still am completely confident we are supposed to adopt, but I have no idea where to start. I need to pray A LOT!

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a year and 6 months and in a long distance relationship. We haven’t seen each other in a year due to our families financial situation. @@robindear5043 theirs been many twists and turns since then but God provided! After 2 months of being stranded in the middle of nowhere with no car and barely any visitors all I had was God. I put an ad on let go app to sell/trade my broken down truck for a fee hundred bucks or trade for a vehicle for someone who could fix up vehicles. A girl my age 24 drove an hr to me and she towed my BROKEN down truck and i paid her $250 for a perfectly working but older car. She knew someone who could fix the truck and she really wanted it. Incredible! My truck needed at least over 1000 in repairs and didnt have a working radio and she still wanted it. God is so good!

The example with the car a the end is exactly what I’m going through to a degree. I can choose a career path that I just fell in love with and sparked a fire of passion within me but that career path isn’t ministry or something super outwardly praising God. Although I can praise him while doing that career, that career at the same time doesn’t condone God either so I don’t know what to do and I havnt gotten a clear answer so I guess I will wait. I obviously want a yes in my answer to pursue it but if it’s a no I will gladly accept that as well I just can’t tell if he’s saying no or not because I’m always in the middle between these things.

How can you be equally yoked if he doesn't want the marriage? That man is supposed to cherish you and protect your heart, not tear it to shreds by not loving you the way Christ does. My question is, are you blaming yourself for his decision to leave you? Know your worth sis. It doesn't mean God doesn't want to restore your marriage, but at the same time of what youre posting is truth, then sis...that man needs to be broken due to his own sin and own up to his fault in the loss of his marriage and your trust

I've asked from him that even when I'm sure he knows best I'm in need of him to put a little of his faith on my hands. I've just broken up with a really nice guy because he is scared of commitment and not being able to do a good job and end up hurting me. I let him go and gave him space but I'm super sure he is supposed to come and learn love with me. So i asked god to help him open his eyes.

Yesterday I broke up with my boyfriend that is half Christian and half atheist, it was very hard, but I knew it God wanted me to do it because it wasn’t his will. Before I went to bed, I heard God say to me “I’m working on him” (he said his name but I don’t want to say it lol). I’m glad that my Heavenly Father will be working on him, I just wonder where him I will be later on.

i’m currently dealing with something similar. i’m pursuing a relationship with a guy (atheist) who my parents already expressed they don’t think is right for me. i know that i can’t change him only God can. but i’m showing him God. its like my desire is to want to be with him romantically, but something is blocking it. i’ve already lead him on once, told him it wouldn’t work, and leading him on again. i told him that we can be together if we tried. i also said that i am willing to try and that i don’t want to “give up” is this just me forcing us to happen eventually? i need to just accept the fact that it is not going to work out. but i also am showing him Gods love and teachings. maybe the enemy is trying to block us because of this? he says he is willing to learn about God but he is not going to “convert”. but i’m also being drained from this too. i think that it is a no from God. he says that he really likes me, and that i make him happy, and that he wants to be with me, but i don’t really think he is doing much about it. i feel like i’m forcing it and pursuing it more than he is. i don’t feel like i’m growing with him in my life. he makes me happy, but only a temporary happiness kind of. like we have fun together laughing and hanging out. i really do love him but he is just not on the same path as me right now, and i am too young to have to deal with such a heavy weight.
