Thanks for the information I just wanted to know how to book an itinerary flight ticket online and cancellation of a booked hotel reservation prior to visiting Canada, how verifiable is this information once you reach at the border point of entry into Canada. That money for the return ticket is counted as a loss, no way to recover it.

It's very compulsory to have a return ticket however much you're not coming back bcoz it acts as proof of your return though you won't.

That's too early...you should apply atleast 3 months prior to your travel date. But good thing with Canada they will give you a visa even if your event is over,as long as you have proper documentation and enough supporting documents
