Applying Mass Loaded Vinyl In A Closet.

In this video I am covering closet walls, ceiling and the floor with mass loaded vinyl to soundproof my closet as I turn it into a multifunctional office space for voice-over, meditation, writing, thinking, EMF wave protected quiet room.
In the future videos, I will be using Green Glue, soundproofing caulking, plywood and siding boards to cover all of the surfaces and I will be soundproofing the door.

How were the results? Did it really help?

I'll have to create a fuller video. To tell you the truth, I didn't feel much improvement with just the vinyl because I could still hear birds chirping. However, when I added a layer of plywood, it got better. I feel that if I also added a layer of green glue and shiplap, even car door slamming would be silenced. Also, to keep the sound from bouncing around, maybe a cork layer on top would make it all top notch...

Is it safe? (Non toxic?) No health risk for having it close contact?

If you are asking about the vinyl, they say it's not toxic. When in tact, it feels like a softer floor vinyl, and when stretched, it feels like rubber. I've seen people use it on it's own, my plan was to cover it with a layer of plywood, and to add another layer of shiplap. I did just the plywood layer and it works alright for recording podcasts and for teaching online workshops. I expected more from it, though.

You are welcome. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations but when I hear that I won't hear anything from outside, I expect not to hear anything from outside. It definitely blocks birds singing, which was my main problem since it's all the time. This thing doesn't block cars starting and warming up or doors slamming. My neighbors' cars are right on the other side of this wall. It's definitely better than what it was before, but if used with other materials like plywood and/or shiplap.
