It is not just teaching. It is also collaboration and making a community where learning can take place. eg willingness of architects or any organisations to support learning in classroom. I wonder if it is possible everywhere?

I couldn’t stop thinking how incredibly fortunate these students were to have had such an innovative teacher, who’s background & creativity & problem solving skills transformed not only her teaching style, but most importantly, the total belief in themselves that the students experienced while working on the Project!! The 2 architects were equally impressive in their dedication & commitment!!! Nothing but total kudos to everyone in this video!!! An update on these students would be awesome - hearing their stories since this experience.

I am one of the participants of Moving to Maths 2.0 training course. Thank you for this training course. I would have never been able to get such an inside view in Math.

A teacher like her can change the world. Her teaching model can improve the analytical thinking and make future generations capable of doing things which lot of people find difficult to comprehend. Now at least this students won't be wondering why the heck did i learn geometry what good it is going to do to my life. They know now.

I've never been good at math because I've never ever once seen a real world example from start to data collection to equation to checking to real life to actual completion. It makes absolutely no sense to me why, how or literally WHAT it's for. I'd definitely want to learn this, I'm 35 and failed in life because no teacher of mine ever taught me anything useful.

2:17 *Checks my steam for messages ... get's confused. With that out of the way, I really wish more educational institutions recognized the importance of giving students a good understanding of what they are doing as apposed to just how. Having knowledge without being able to apply it is redundant, and in the long term students will forget what they have learnt if they cannot find use for it outside of school.

So it's mean that they should have prior knowledge first before they do the project? can we do it in the same time, both exploring the concept and exploring the project?
