Quick question: Can you apply to both ED and EA schools, as long as your final decision is your ED school if accepted? I've had varying responses everywhere and it's kind of confusing.
@kyle.42152 жыл бұрын
it depends on the school. some schools will say “if you early decision here you cannot apply early to other private institutions” and some may be fine with you applying early action to other places. i know off the top of my head, don’t quote me here but i think so, uchicago allows you to apply elsewhere if you go ed and princeton does not allow you to apply to other private universities if you do their single choice early admissions option.

Hi! I love watching super tutor TV but I'm spanish and I have always wondered, what if you don't get into a college of your interest? Are you able to repeat the whole process next year and the following and so on? Here in Spain we don't care that much about colleges themselves but we place value on the actual degree, if your marks don't allow you to enter let's say medicine, you can take the exams as many times as you wish to try getting a higher mark, but I don't know if in USA it works like that ☺️
@SupertutorTV2 жыл бұрын
There are thousands of universities in the United States and in terms of just getting a degree in qualifying to enter a certain career, you are welcome to apply year over year. If you’re looking to get into a big-name or competitive university, however, I generally find the people who are reapplying a second year unless there is a good story or a good excuse or they didn’t apply at all to that particular school the first year have less luck

I have a question about applying when it comes to exam results. When I apply, can I share both the SAT and ACT in my application if I want to, or colleges require only one? Thanks in advance
@duna.222 жыл бұрын
It depends on where you want to go, some schools might prefer one over the other, some schools may want both, and some schools might not care which one. I would search up the colleges that you want to apply to and find out what they might want. I will say that for many schools, they just simply want to see a test score that is good, and it doesn't matter which one. Hope this helps!!
@andrewwhite50502 жыл бұрын
@@duna.22 I see your point, but I wanted to get it right that majority of colleges wouldn't mind if I share both, 'cause as I thought it might be forbidden thing, like, they want ONLY one and nothing else, I mean does it exist or not?
@duna.222 жыл бұрын
@@andrewwhite5050 No, I don’t think colleges will only want one and not the other. You can send one score or the other, or you can send both

So I'm about to go into high school and I got into the science and medicine and I'm trying to get into UCLA, But I'm only taking ceramics for my only elective for my high school year. Should I get more electives or should i just focus on doing as many AP classes as I can.?
@reversethatvideo88132 жыл бұрын
Though A.P. classes boost your GPA, it is important to not stress and push yourself too much. High school takes some adjusting and I don't recommend taking too many A.P. classes off right the bat. Take the "easier" ones such as AP Psychology in your freshman or Sophomore year to get a feeling of what a A.P. class is like before getting into the harder classes. Electives are like "free-time" as they are like classes where you cam relax or use as study time for your harder classes. It is best to have a balance, which can include having a few electives to manage your time better. I would also recommend looking into clubs and extracirruculars when first getting into high school. In addition to getting good grades, extracirruculars and what you do with your time other than studying and schoolwork is extremely important, and could even be more important, than your test scores and grades. Remember, freshman year can be tough at times. It takes adjusting and teachers are very understanding. Don't be like me and push yourself too hard to get the "perfect" grade all the time because it is not necessary. If you are struggling to keep up, let your teachers know. Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself. Teachers and counselors will not see you as demanding, I promise.
@Jon-eo9zf2 жыл бұрын
I would recommend getting the essential AP’s down if your school offers them and then fill up the rest of your class lists with electives which you actually enjoy because they can potentially give you good experiences to write about and the opportunity to really just explore your passions. For AP classes the essentials that colleges probably like to see are some form of history like APUSH, APWH, English like AP Lang or AP Lit, some science AP’s like AP Chem, AP Bio, or AP Physics (there’s many different forms of physics too). The rest of the AP’s such as AP Psych and Human Geography are easier and more intro freshman/sophomore classes. All in all, a good amount of AP’s would be 9-10 depending on the classes that your school offers. I would also ask older students and upperclassmen about their experiences, advice, and what AP classes they took to get a better idea before stressing yourself about this before it even matters. For my school, they only offered 5 AP’s so I had limited options, but I supplemented this with community college classes and outside AP courses. I had that opportunity but others may not, so it really depends on your school and your local opportunities. There’s usually always a community college option though for extra credits on the side that can help you later in college and stand as makeshift AP’s. Since my high school has a dual enrollment option with a local community college, I’ll have enough credits to graduate high school with 3 Associates degrees and spend less time in a public university because I can transfer credits to the UC system where I have one plan to go.
