Glad your doctor seen you and that you are feeling better. I fainted a few times with my first baby, But didn't feel like I couldn't catch my breath. The most embarrassing time was, when I was 7 months and in a pet store and fainted as I was checking out, luckily a man caught me. I woke up in an ambulances. My midwife talked to me about eating even if I wasn't hungry or had an appetite. I was really bad about eating if I didn't feel hungry and at the time I was not eating meat due to getting sick. My iron was low. I stopped fainting once I ate little snacks all day and I ate seaweed (helps with iron) ;) Prayers that you get better or find answers that will help.

+Mary Weeks Thank you Mary! I would have been embarrassed to had I been in public! I was mortified that it happened at the doctors but I was lucky to be with my doctor when it did. I don't know why I was so embarrassed, seems silly but I was! LOL!

Oh my goodness! So sorry your answers weren't what you were expecting. I am so glad Jackson is doing ok, but certainly want you to be healthy and doing ok as well. Prayer being sent for clarity and speedy resolution to this situation and that it turns out to not be too serious. I agree it's good that you did have an episode at your appointment so your doctor could see what was going on and start the process to figure out what best course of action is.

I know I commented below before watching your entire vlog, but you are scaring me!! You are talking exactly how I do when my fibro is over the top!! Stroke like acting ya know. Please respond to me as fast as you can because I am seriously worried about you being at home alone. Justin has to work, I get that. Hugs and loves.

I get that feeling when my IBS gets really bad, and it was a side effect of an Allergy pill. I'm sorry you're going through that in your Pregnancy! No matter what it's from it is very unpleasant. I really hope you are one of the people who this is normal for 🙏
@FibroFightingBarbie8 жыл бұрын
+TTCing-Fibro-Vegan Thank you!!!! I have heard several people say that about IBS and also fibro. Makes me wonder if it might be my fibro too since pregnancy has made it a bit worse.

Oh no my sweet youtube friend. When you responded to my message from yesterdays video you responded I think to someone elses comments but put it under mine. Also, did you notice when you watched this back how you were slurring or like your words were slow? So happy you saw your doctor. How you were acting is exactly what I do all the time from my fibro. It scared me watching you and knowing you were driving. Im not sure about the other gals on here, but I feel like I know ya even though it is on youtube. Worried me. Also it could be the mom in me because I am 46. LOL!!!! Thank you so much for sharing with us. It takes a lot out of you dealing with fibro and a high risk pregnancy to do these vids every day. Gentle hugs to you and you and your sweet little family are always in my prayers. I hope what I said about makes sense.

Heather🌹💕, I'm just going to say a few extra prayers for you. So glad Jackson is doing well🎈. I suffer from circulation issue and from time to time, I get dizzy, cold sweats and palpitations. I feel and have fainted a few time. My Dr had me in the hospital last yr for 4 days to monitor this and basically said the same as what your Dr said, except I wasn't pregnant lol. I don't have it as often as I did but maybe 2 times every few months. Sometimes prior to going to the bathroom is when I get this. it sucks but your Dr is keeping an eye on you. It is always a good thing to have your heart checked out incase you have any underlying health conditions that were never diagnosed. They checked my heart over and was glad all was ok. You will be fine Heather, it is the unknown things that are scarey. I'm glad it also happened so your Dr could see 1st hand what you were saying. Wishing you all the best Little Mama🍼💕

+Doreen Maclean Thank you Doreen! My cardiologist does tests once a year but pregnancy can do so many things to the body makes me wonder if being pregnant might have brought something to the surface he didn't catch!
@doreenmaclean49538 жыл бұрын
I agree hun. Sometimes people go to dr or hospital for one thing and they accidently find an issue from long ago that wasn't diagnosed. Follow this through Hun, have your heart checked for blockages etc. Love you girl. Best wishes Heather and Justin💖🍼💏🍼💙

I had something similar when I was expecting. It was scary because I would black out. The first time it happened I was driving in Panama and I had our four children in the car. My husband was away (Army) and talk about scare the crap out of me. You are definitely in my prayers!

+Kimberly Tulk oh my gosh!!! Thank god you and your family were okay! Did they ask you to stop driving as well? Thats the hardest part for me right now. I like to get things done, do errands for Justin and I feel so useless but I understand its for my safety.

I had the same problems when I was pregnant I passed out all the time I end up becoming high risk pregnancy but my baby came out just fine and of course I'm fine but I will give you a little bit of advice which I know will be hard for you because it was hard for me trying not to talk as much when you feel it start coming on!! lol that was the big one for me haha!! also lay down on your side and just try to relax you getting scared and upset will only make it worse if you try to do these little things that I just explained it will help I promise!! I am sending lots of prayers and hugs keep up that beautiful head honey and stay positive!! :)

I had similar dizziness issues during pregnancy. All that extra blood volume, I guess! Mine were triggered when walking, specifically in stores (perhaps because of the lighting). If I didn't sit down I'd feel like I would faint and then extreme nausea kicked in. I remember one time I had to sit down in the middle of DT 😂 I hope it passes quickly!
@FibroFightingBarbie8 жыл бұрын
+susannahsaurus lol I can just imagine the people in dollar tree wondering what you were doing. I can totally understand though in target the other day I was about to sit on the ground I was so out of breath but I made it to the lawn furniture section and sat there like 20 minutes lol!

It does sound like normal palpitations during pregnancy due to high blood volume and such. Unfortunately, fainting and dizziness is super common in pregnancy :( As for feeling this way before a bowel movement, it sounds like a vasovagal response meaning that the baby could be pressing on a major artery or pushing/straining can even cause this too. I experienced the same thing, and I was even admitted for two weeks before I delivered. Baby was fine, I was fine, and he was just delivered at 39 weeks :) I had the total workup and everything was normal. I was passing out almost every day.Good luck! The top number of my blood pressure was 89, and baby was perfect during my "episodes"

I suffer from severe fibro and I know exactly what u are talking about! I just went thru testing and they basically blame it on the fibro...it's a bitch;) but it is all in the life of fibro..I'm sure being pg is extra tuff..hang in there! I'm laid up for six weeks since I also have degenitive bone disease and they just had to rebuild my foot so for six weeks it is suppose to be no weight and above my heart..but we are tuff girls🤓 we got this!

I've been having very much the same problems with the added issue of feeling like I cannot stand up. I'm 29 weeks so of a similar gestation as you also. It's horrible and very scary so I can totally understand and I've never thought to mention it to my midwife it's kinda made me think the next time I see her I'm going to mention it also. The joys of some parts of pregnancy I hope it's nothing serious I'm sure it's not but send my best wishes to you. :)
@FibroFightingBarbie8 жыл бұрын
+MsFunnyface11 oh yes mention it to your midwife!!!! better safe then sorry, I wish I had brought it up when it first started instead of waiting till I fainted in the office! LOL

Sounds just like my vasovagal syncope. The bowel movement can cause it, among with standing for long periods(mine is only 5-10), heat exposure and few others. She is right about your heart and rest of your body not communicating and working right. Feet up can also help as it can be pooling in your legs due to the heart not pumping fully right. I know this was a while ago so I will try and catch up. Just wanted to say I hear you. I am not pregnant and this was the thing that made me disabled before fibro go kicking full on. :( The tilt table test if they do that is no fun. I am so glad you had it happen there! So they could look at the bp and all. Watch and see if the bp changes during a episode if you can. Mine drops. It dropped mega low during the tilt tablet test. So sorry your going through all this. Hope I am not over sharing, just felt you were describing my syncope. Fibro and syncope can go together, not sure if mine fits in there. Haven't seen cardiologist since the diagnosis.
@FibroFightingBarbie8 жыл бұрын
+mommy2kdk That is one of the things she thought the fainting could be she also listed several other things, hopefully next week when she looks at all my notes she will have a better idea of what it might be or if I need to see my cardiologist. Did you you get palpitations too?
@mommy2kdk8 жыл бұрын
FibroFightingBarbie Yes I do. Didn't realize what palpitations were exactly until a Dr made me explain how I was feeling. Talk with your Dr about raising your sodium and keeping it steady through out the day. Like with snacks, stuff added to your foods. Sodium will help if it is that, but with being pregnant I am not sure. Though you mentioned low bp and sodium does help raise the bp. I hope you get it figured out soon!

Stay on top of the shortness of breath. Peri-partum cardiomyopathy is often misdiagnosed. I had it with my last pregnancy and almost went into heart failure. It's misdiagnosed frequently because a lot of the symptoms are the same as normal pregnancy symptoms. If the shortness of breath continues, I would request to see a cardiologist and have an ECHO done.
@FibroFightingBarbie8 жыл бұрын
+Katherine Clark oh yes! That is actually one of the things she mentioned, I don't have swelling and they check my lungs to listen for asthma or fluid but if she doesn't like what she sees in my logs or I feel like its getting worse then she is going to send me over to my cardiologist for tests. I love her because she is always so on top of things! Did you have bad swelling ? that is so scary, thank god you pulled through!

I have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) that comes with my Fibro and it's exactly like what you're describing. It's like my heart and circulatory system has a hard time fighting against gravity, so my blood pressure drops and my heart rate increase when I'm sitting or standing upright for too long. I wonder if your heart issues are just related to pregnancy or if your Fibro plays a part in it too.
@FibroFightingBarbie8 жыл бұрын
+Jessica Rose That is a good question because my fibro has gotten worse during pregnancy so it could be bringing other issues to the surface!

those spells have been happening to me my entire pregnancy so far.. I'm 24 weeks 3 days today and still everyday... all day... I could be walking, sitting or even laying down... once it hits nothing seems to help... :/ I also have severe chronic ptsd.. so I thought that was it but idk... I hope you feel better soon.
@FibroFightingBarbie8 жыл бұрын
+Jennifer Ortiz oh no :( I hope you feel better, it must be awful to feel that all day!!!! I suffer from PTSD after an prolonged emergency situations when I almost died several times. PTSD is so hard to go through, even after therapy and making improvements it always stays with you. big hugs!
@jenniferperez39108 жыл бұрын
I think it has to do with the fact that I have alot of anxiety :/ I am hoping to find answers. And yes ptsd is very difficult even with therapy, small steps right? Any progress is good progress, even when you don't feel you made any.. :) big hugs to you as well ♡♡ I hope you are feeling better.

Idk if this will help but sounds kind of symilar to what happened to be i would get shaky and light headed and my heart would beat fast, i also had heavy breathing and turns out im anemic, u should have your ob check for iron levels you could have low iron just from my experience but it could just be something else hope this helped :)
@FibroFightingBarbie8 жыл бұрын
+Sandra Aguado I have pregnancy related anemia too they found a few weeks ago but now my levels are good because I am on prescription iron. Anemia can do crazy things to our bodies, I had no symptoms but my friend Krystal had it bad after her c section and during pregnancy. Her arms would go to sleep from it. I never knew that could happen!

(not pregnant) I just had a 24hour heart monitor because of palpitations, I also get short of breath. now they are going to do a 30day monitor test. :/we already know I have heart rate problems. (resting I'm 100-110 on 125mg of a beta blocker and a muscle relaxant. can go up to 170 not resting. NO fun)
