Charles Boyer had a deep and sensitive nature as well as a strong masculine side to his acting. I just love him and his movies. He is the epitome of class and elegance.

A fun, enjoyable movie with so many infamous actors in it ! I think the main theme of the story was quite novel for its time. Thank you,for sharing this movie.

This movie is quite revolutionary. Even today female doctors do not get the respect that this one had. I wonder what kind of reception it had in 1941. Did people take it seriously or was it considered a farce, an unrealistic situation? It’s very possible that there would be less divorce if there were more couples with separate addresses or at least more respect for one another’s individual lives and life goals. Thanks for sharing this film. Never saw it before and I found it thoroughly enjoyable.

Charles Boyer was pure class and sophistication. Most people lack those qualities today. He was terrific in "History Is Made At Night", as well as "Tales Of Manhattan".

Thank you very much. I don’t remember ever seeing this. It’s a beautiful picture. Actually living in separate homes is biblical. The husband had his own tent and the wife had her own tent.
