So great to put a face with the author. Our family bookshelf has some oldies but goodies from Phillip Yancey! Will be glad to order this revived book along with Dr. Brands insights that Phillip is keeping alive! That’s awesome! Our Calvary Chapel Pastor quotes from Phillip Yancey now, and has been since I knew him, for the last 36 years at our beloved Church. Thank you for all of your years of just making things simple, yet very profound and that makes me dig deeper into The Word! Mendy

So sad! I don’t visit my Mom enough...She’s 82. It’s so hard. Her husband passed right before Covid, but she lives in a Dell Webb adult community. But man... Prayers big time for Alzheimer’s and Nursing Homes! Gods in control. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Philip Yancey. I want to hear more! Scripture sez, The Life of the flesh is in the blood 🆎 that may be why our heavenly Father forbids the drinking of blood among His people. I hv watched heathen tribesmen drinking the blood of a recent butchered animal. Through the blood of Jesus we are cleansed from our sin. 💗 During the Passover we partake of the symbols. The 🍷is symbolic of His blood and the unleavened bread ⬜ symbolic of His flesh.
