I was looking at visitor statistics and saw how low North Cascades National Park was compared to many other national parks, and it's such a shame. It's one of my favorite places in the world. Amazing video series! I hope the critters enjoyed your socks.

Very cool! You're in my hiking territory now...I've hiked by the smiley face several times..so fun! This is a tough hike because it's not well traveled, which is why it's so overgrown in places. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you, this was lovely! Feel like so many hiking videos are about miles logged or specific (brand) stuff used. But this really captured the feeling of hiking, both together and with friends. And you also captured a nice glimpse of the PNW.

Thank you! And I am, but will say it may make it easier to find decent songs, the end process is still hours long. Better than a free website but still not the best. I think neemor said his problem was that you'll find everyone winds up using the same stuff, so he went with a different source

Going beneath that huge bridge was super cool! I’m glad you finally caught up with your friends. I thought they were two guys, but Alex must be the female. I hope y’all stuck it out together. I’m still in the teamwork mindset. That bear story you told us about was just what I was talking about. Luckily that guy was watching your back and the bear wasn’t an issue but alone you could be in that bears gut and no one would be the wiser. They’d find a shoe or some shit when your friends reports in. But I’m so happy you were safe. So much beauty in the world. It’s a shame we don’t see it. I regret not being able to see it but that’s going to change. I’ve got a new outlook on life and it took losing everything to find it.

Very nice bump in the editing quality, thanks for taking the time, and taking us along the trail! Btw. I saw you also use polycro and wanted to ask you, do you sometimes experience it get stuck underneath with sand, dirt and other small pieces that make it heavier and not so easy to clean? You maybe have any good tips for getting less sticky things or a way to clean it and keep it UL :)
@JupiterHikes5 жыл бұрын
I give the polycro a good shake most mornings, but sure things can stick if its wet out. As it dries they just fall off tho! Thank you for the kind words! Trying to up my video world

How many extra miles do you think you walk (for total hike) when you have to place the camera and then have to go back to walk into the shot?
@JupiterHikes4 жыл бұрын
Probably not that much extra distance but it does take a lot of time to do so. Judging from how long each clip is I may spend as much as 45 minutes from the day doing this. I figure in time it'll go faster as I will just shoot better shots rather than film every little thing
