would the cognitive approach essay still get 6/6 for AO1 despite not mentioning computer models and the emergence of cognitive neuroscience because they're on the spec?

Essays are marked holistically not on a mark-by-mark basis. We discussed internal mental processes, schema and theoretical models and those elements in detail would be more than enough; as it's quality over quantity. However, other ways of answering this question are equally valid.

I was taught to do 3 and just to make sure they were good rather than doing 6, also u would probably struggle with time if u did 6 for AO3

So in one of the questions for paper 1, it asked something along the lines of how to improve the experiment. I panicked and wrote "They could conscript participants which reduces volunteer bias". Is that a valid answer?

jaketvize in a2 you could use these points and the fourth evaluation would be an issues and debates

They can indeed. As you've mentioned, at A2 you would just need more points and to add depth to these existing points by adding a counter-argument/issue and debate. Good luck tomorrow.
