#omg please name the videos by the spec like memory or attachment instead of cognitive and developmental psychology. cant believe the video was up for a year and im watching it the night before my exam.

14:45 ish. Would you not just always answer with the "mean" as you usually discount the anomaly data, therefore the data would always be accurate. So in condition A you just discount the data 12 and 16.

The cognitive approach uses experimental research methods to study internal mental processes such as attention, perception, memory and decision-making. Cognitive psychologists assume that the mind actively processes information from our senses (touch, taste etc.) and that between stimulus and response is a series of complex mental processes, which can be studied scientifically. They also assume that humans can be viewed as data processing systems and that the workings of a computer and the human mind are alike - they encode and store information, they have outputs, etc. Loads of great resources available here: www.tutor2u.net/psychology/topics/cognitive-approaches
