Lol! The same thing happened to my daughter, my deceased dad came to visit her. She giggled and I asked her what is so funny? And she told me Papa… and then went and pointed at his picture. Keep in mind she had never met him, but had seen pictures. So yes, your mom was visiting her grandson! How wonderful! Happy Mothers Day Stefanie!

It probably was your mom visiting. Children and animals are much more able to sense “spirits” and angels than adults. My nephew, when he was little, was laughing and talking to no one, and when we asked who he was talking to, he said PopPop, who had died several years earlier. These are considered visits from someone who passed. It’s such a gift

I am quite positive it is your mom & Kaia that Kieran is reacting to. A month after my father died, my five year-old youngest son asked me to turn his nightlight off in his room. When I questioned him and asked him if he was sure (he was very afraid of the dark), he replied “yes because when Papa visits me in the nighttime, heaven‘s colors are so beautiful and I can’t see them very good with my nightlight on”. This was just the first of many experiences my son had with my father across the veil. ❤

My daughter is 25 but special needs ( mentally she is about 16 months old) and my Mom has passed and she comes to see my daughter on a regular basis. Our daughter is non verbal,but when Nana visits her at night she laughs and talks to her for probably 30 minutes or so,it's very special to me to know that my Mom is watching over her

Elastic threading sewing tool is known as a "bodkin". Both Dritz and Clover manufacture them. A really large safety pin works just as well.

A drawstring threader will do the job of pushing elastic thru fabric got mine on Amazon works amazing. Like safety pin but way longer lol. Only few bucks too

My Mother’s Day vent: I woke up to a husband that spent the morning telling me all the things I do wrong and then say I can’t take criticism when I complain. Atleast the rest of the day went better and he got me chocolate.

Hugs, as a loss mama I understand the anxiety the next time around. The elastic pulled is called a bodkin. You can also sew your elastic in a circle and place in the casing and pull and sew and pull the elastic as you sew. Saves the whole 3 steps of pulling it through, seeing the elastic and sewing closed the opening. The gowns are very cute.

Stephanie I get so tickled when I see you pinning the sides or hems of you garments! I have never used that many in my life! LOL! So cute! The thing I use for pulling my elastic through is by Clover it's called easy Loop turner. It has multiple uses You can use it for turning material right side out, but you can also use it to pull your elastic through! Have fun! I've been a seamstress for over 60 yrs. I started when I was about 12. I'm so happy to watch you see. I even bought some of the little clips you use. I'm in the process and make christening gowns for a group I belong to Calle For The Babies. I've made of 200 bibs for the NICU babies I've made several quilts, and burp cloths. So I can see why you love to sew. You baby sounds very healthy and active. Just have a little patience and she will be Here before you know it! God bless you and your little family. Yup. The bigger safety pins so they are longer so faster gathering. I don’t even sew but i have done that a bajillion times. It’s smooth and fast and flat.

Don't worry, everything is going to be just fine! And your mom will always be with you!!! I am sure she and Kaia played with Keiran the other night! Kids especially up to the age of 6 can see many more things then we can. Anyway all children of the new generation have special gifts in my opinion - they teach us a lot! Stay blessed and positiv! When my autistic son who was non verbal at the time was around 3 years old...all of a sudden in his chair, he started giggling and clearly started saying, "Mema!" Over and over again. I was stunned....he was a newborn when my Mema (who raised me) passed away and we never talked about her with him or around him. The mere fact it was the first word id ever heard him speak was shocking...but that it was his Mema who hed never known was just truly unexplainable. To this day, i am convinced that my Mema was there playing with him and that she is the one who told him her name....because we certainly didn't. I look back on that memory with fondness, even though i was thoroughly creeped out at the time.

When my kids were little I had them in gowns like you just sewed.. love them for the ease of changing diapers lol I lost my son in Iraq and truly believe that he has come to see me many times either with music, smells and once I felt a big warm hug in a early morning. Mama, you got this. The fear is playing tricks on you. Write out your worse fears on paper and wad then up and toss them away. Into a bbq pit, waterpool or the trash. Tell them only good things positive and bright are allowed. Our mind and our heart have to balance and you, sweet lady, have been balancing more than your fair share. Rest, visualize baby girl doing tummy time or sitting near her big brother. Apprehension will vanish and sleepless days, cloning yourself to mother the new borne and the toddler will bring that satisfaction and love. You are doing really, really good. Big hugs.

No need to apologize yesterday was horrific for me too. I ugly cried all day. I finally felt better after a three mile hike and a romp in our river. We understand everything you're going through. You did great to meditate on your feelings and process to the point of enjoying Mother’s Day. You are very emotionally intelligent. The gowns are gorgeous and loved the contrasting pink zig zig thread at the hem. My mom and sister used to sew. I wish I had learned. I can only basic hand sew and that’s about it. Hope the rest of yesterday was fun and soon you will be celebrated by two at the next mom’s day. Crazy, eh? Your creativity is inspiring. I too have inflammatory chronic pain and a few diagnoses for it. Didn’t know the green juice helped but did hear that staying fully hydrated helps. And ohh mah gawd on your mom visiting Kieran and I wonder if he could see Kaia too. Def creepy and interesting. So not creepy if it’s your mom tho. The high energy in your house prob would facilitate a visit as well as it being Mother’s Day and you needing your mom this week. Trifecta for a visit. I hope you got some rest and are feet up today some. Lay on your bed with feet against the wall for 20 min to help with the normal leg swelling at your stage of vascular compression. I would think on your side with a maternity pillow is key at this juncture. Don’t forget a pillow between knees to open your hips a bit also. Anyways hugs and go girl go! Those little cross cross tying vests/tees are good for little newborns also. Easier than over the head. I want to design some baby clothes too. So fun!
