Very interesting. I have ptsd and panic disorder and my fiancee has adhd. Sometimes I think we don't completely understand how each other's brains work given each of our challenges. He took meds until 18 and then stopped. He's 35 now and has been managing it on his own. I take meds also for my issues.

So one help me. I want to see a doctor that can “scan my brain “ or “diagnose me” to see if I have ADHD. I believe I do . Anyway,what doctor should I go see? I’m in California,and I have Medicare. I also just started working for UCSD so I believe I have the option to get Kaiser.(pretty good benefits from what I hear) What doctor do I see? What tests can prove to me that I have it and they(the dr) can verify I do have it? I’m also *Medication Hesitant*. Can someone tell me why I should take this if I have ADHD? *PS….I use to abuse medication (Triple C) when I was a kid so I believe that why I am hesitant . Please help me with answers!!
