Hi Jonny. Lovely little vlog. Watched wat you did very closely, as my son has just joined a club and like the lake here he is fishing one ( 10 acres ) that is very weedy. Great info. Looking at your reels are you using ESP onyx big pit reels? if so have you had any issues with them ie the line clips. Many thanks Ray.

Diawa infinity x 5500 are best carp reels had almost 20yrs no problem

Agreed. It's good to have some slightly scaled down gear (but still very strong) for smaller waters rather than bulky big pit tackle. Makes the fishing more enjoyable. I caught my first 20 from these ponds and numerous others with slightly scaled down gear. The twenty was on a centrepin.
