My son just got it April 10 and it better than the t slim hands down we are so happy he is a teen now so I can see if he sneak food than I just give him insulin after I check the trash and see what he popped in his mouth and I don't have to go dail it in or wake him up to check his sugar

The user still needs to input the carbs into the controller before eating. Still, the fact that both the Omnipod and the Dexcom are connected is a big deal.

The algorithm might get unstable with high swings so it best to keep low carb diet in any case . You still want a low a1c . Just cuz the omnipod allows better control it wont magically give you a low a1c. It works with what you give it

Omnipod is the BEST. Only if stays on skin the for full 3 days.
