APRÉS GEL X NAIL DUPE | Easy and Affordable Gel Nails

Hello my friends✨ I’ve been seeing and loving this new Apres Gel X nails but we know they come with a price tag, sooo I decided to try out an Apres Nail Dupe Method! To do this I used regular nail tips and a builder gel from Orly. All the details are in this video and everything is linked below! Thanks for the video! Love this Apres dupe method. Hardest thing for me is getting both hands under the lamp while holding the nails on! I ended up taking the bottom of my sunlamp off and propping it up with 6 buffing blocks (three on each side) to make it easier. Works like a charm! I also have a little trouble with excess gel at the free edge of natural nail. I'll just keep putting a little less each time to figure out how much I really need so there isn't so much excess.

If you put your lamp upright without the base it will also work it will come off and on like it does when layed flat

I also use Apres, I love BTArtbox's nail tips. It's cheap and easy to use.Which may not be so soft, but otherwise it doesn't affect anything. 😍If Btatbox makes a soft Gel nail game, I will always support them

@@jasmineesquivel4755 Sally beauty supply has the full cover soft gel tips for 8.99 just like the Apres kind. They are made by Gelish 😍 But yes, you can use any cheap plastic tips as well.

You know I found some actual soft gel enailcouture XXL nail dupes on Amazon, I know they sell them on Aliexpress but I found like maybe 4 or 5 maybe soft sculpted gel enailcouture nail dupes on Amazon for cheap!! Just let me know if you'd like to try them out, they're all under $15-20 & some have free shipping with Amazon Prime.

I wash my dishes by hand and these nails last 3 weeks. You just have to make sure that you prep your nails properly, and dehydrating and using a primer.

The real Apres nails are actually pretty hard and durable. This method I used in this video for an apres nail dupe is definitely not as hard

I have the real apres that i ordered from amazon. I got the natural medium coffin nails and it cane with the box thing and the light and all 4 bottles and the nail file .

So why don’t you just buy the tips from Apres and use this same system? The tips are not even that expensive. It’s the rest of the system that is.
