With the Ultralink you can tune your vehicle with APR Engine Control Unit (ECU) and APR Transmission Control Unit (TCU) Upgrades right from the convenience of your own home, all on your own! It connects your vehicle directly to the Ultralink Marketplace, which is our online store filled with tens of thousands of tunes supporting most of the vehicles in our catalogue.
The Ultralink lets you download and install new engine and transmission tunes, update to new file versions, jump to a new stage, change octanes and program modes, configure adjustable features such as launch control, torque levels, speed limiters, and other features, read and clear fault codes, reset flash counters, and more!

Ordered this last night for my Mk 7.5 Golf R! I will be coming back to APR after a 12 year hiatus...last car I had tuned was a Mk 6 VW GLI back in 2012. Drove all the way from Lexington, KY to the APR headquarters in Opelika, AL for a Stage I tune and then to Ocean City, MD to the H2Oi show to have a downpipe and Stage II tune installed. This will be much more convenient!! Looking forward to doing both an ECU Stage I and TCU tune this weekend!

Just wanted to provide an update after successfully tuning my 2019 Golf R with both ECU and TCU files using the Ultralink. Everything went seamlessly and the car performs much better than stock!

1 device can do both tcu and ecu tunes and updates buying a 2018 gti with 91 stage 2 want to switch it to 93

It just came out today and current support is only for the EA888.3 1.8 & 2.0. So no support for the Mk8 yet but I imagine that’s next on their list.
