I needed more fragrant orchids in my life...I was delighted all of March 2021 and I wanted mooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Time for some new FRAGRANT orchids ...BING BING UNBOXING TIME

On my trip to Thailand I didn't see this orchid, ein Scherz, just Den. phals and on an orchid farm Wandas too. Can't believe you have this cattleya as a have already 👀 on it and just wait till I get the info that the vendor has a Bulb. Medusae. Schönen Sonntag!

@@Orchidomania Yes, I did. Bangkok up to the Golden Triangle and back + 1 week Kho Samui. Just Den. Phals. On the 2nd day I complained at the tour guide where the orchids are and he mentioned that he gets this question very often.

@@annareiter952 ...I understood just Den. Phals I meant for the RLC. Amazing Thailand. LOL and I too drive tour guides/people crazy when I travel to orchid countries. You can see the results in my videos from Singapore, Dominican Republic, etc

Wine Delight: Menthol cherry candy; nice! And strong! Around dec/jan for a month. The flowers smell nice even if they fall off and dry! Grace Dunn: Have mine since summer 2020; was same as yours aka not in good shape. Did not flower yet, but I have heard of magical things about it: Strong fragrance and nice or like Phalaenopsis japonica (which is very nice too and blooms winter and summer for me.). Catasetinae in Sphagnum = great choice imo. I start to water them regularly in june, but they get a bit now and than, if they shrivel too much. (A tip from van kampen-lewis; and it works!). I have even looked up their natural climatogram and it seems they get round 4 months of relative dryness but still with like 4 light rainy days per month. Btw.: I stop watering 1. if the leaves and flowers fall off. 2. If they haven't I force them round january. Gradually. Hope this might be helpful, but I know you have some Catasetinae yourself, so... :D
