don’t want to get into whatabouteries but i would very much like to see you doing something for Palestine, Yemen, Syria or any other “non-white” nation! i don’t think there is anything wrong with doing a video about Ukraine, however, one can’t ignore the fact the amount of attention they are getting compared to Muslim nations which have been under threat! so, kindly try to be a little more inclusive in your art, it can do something, if not a lot! thanks

Thank you for using your channel to spread awareness. Parts of Ukraine were literally turned into ashes and ruin and there might not be many sunflowers this year. On the week the war started I just sketched one on my weekly spread. I couldnt get myself to write a note about what happened 😪

Don’t forget to stay supportive of Ukraine in the future when the prices of bread and flour go up! I’m sure their wheat fields were destroyed and that no one has been able to start planting for next years harvest either, which will cause additional economic hardship for them when the fighting stops 💙

Sunflowers are also the actual national flower of Ukraine. while the language is similar to Russian, it is very different. it's just hard for Americans to hear a difference as Slavic languages are all very similar. They're not the same as Cali English and British English. They're similar like Creole French and France French.
@PlantBasedBride2 жыл бұрын
Oh yes, I meant to include that fact as well! That makes sense, Creole is certainly very different from France and Quebecois French.

I am with you Elizabeth, i stand for Ukraine. Your facts are enlightening and good to know. But I always wonder where was this support during Syria war and any of the middle east war. Media attention is very high when it happens in Europe and western world. But when it happens in other part of the world, the proactiveness via media is less. We have very selective humanity.
@PlantBasedBride2 жыл бұрын
I agree and I wish media was more fair in their coverage. As a Canadian who was still a teenager when the war in Syria began, I have seen little to no coverage on the Canadian news feeds I follow in the past 5 years. I don’t know enough about the situation to speak on it and need to do a lot of research to understand. In contrast, updates about the conflict in Ukraine has been constant over the past few months on every platform and every news feed I follow.

I have a question, have you ever had not enough pages in the Bujo to fit all 6 months of the year in one book? I use Notebooktherapy B5 of 178 pages, and I counted and the book will be full at the end of May, I use 30 pages per month; -2 page monthly cover - 2 page Monthly Overview - 1 page Sleep Log - 1 page Focus Log - and then repeating Weekly Log with 4 pages of daily Logs. It really bothers me that I can't fit half a year in 1 book, I don't know what spreads in the beginning of my book I could get rid of to reserve pages, I'm just a lil stuck rn. Was really hoping to fit half a year in 1 book like you do. Perhaps some spreads in the beginning I that I don't transfer over to the new book? I'm really torn ;-;
@KuraiKodoku162 жыл бұрын
@@amberglow7612 Ah, I should have worded it better. I'm upset that I can't fit 6 months in one book and then continue in a 2and book for the last 6 months. The spreads I use are helpful, it's the first time doing monthly covers which I could combine with my monthly log. My problem is that I can't write super small like I often see online to make so many details fit in a square box xD
@PlantBasedBride2 жыл бұрын
Usually I manage it (but sometimes I have to do fewer spreads in the final month to make it work). On occasion I've had to switch before 6 months depending on the notebooks I'm using and how many pages it has.
@KuraiKodoku162 жыл бұрын
@@PlantBasedBride I see, that is good to know. If I do fewer spreads in the beginning and merge the monthly log with the monthly cover in 2 pages, it wil fit exactly 6 months. So for this year I might need to find a B5 sized bujo with fewer pages for just December 2022, I'll make something work hopefully ^^

All my support goes to Ukrainians 🥺❤️. But also same things has been happening in the Middle East for literally years and no one talked about it :/ and that’s the power of media !! I hope y’all do more research on this and not be fooled by the hypocrisy of western media ! We’re all humans !!
@PlantBasedBride2 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. Big media is so biased and hypocritical. I shared a reel talking about the racist way many reporters are framing what’s happening in Ukraine in contrast to conflicts in other areas over on Instagram, where I often share about world issues.
