When my husband died 6 years ago I kept various appointments in google calendar. To my dismay, I discovered that I can only search back over 2 years, so some of that important information is not available to me anymore. Now I keep a planner/journal and just use google calendar to record appointments, etc when I’m out and about. Then I fill in my planner/journal at home with more details, business cards, etc. I just use washi tape to add them to the page. I could also use previous planners to review what might be coming up in the next month/quarter, that he used to take care of (car registration!!), so I could stay on top of things. I wish you moments of calm, peace, and clarity in this first year of massive change. May you be surrounded by people who love and support you.

As an adult life becomes a lot about “have to’s”. Creating a bullet journal is something I feel excited about because it’s something I get to do, as creatively as I want to. This satisfies my creative need and justifies a “have to” because having a calendar is a must. Thank you for making generating pages fun!!

I absolutely LOVE your videos!!! I don't have the commitment or patience to create the beautiful layouts you do- but I LOVE watching and admiring the creative and aesthetic! I use stickers in my planners but they usually look haphazard. 😅 I use the year-in-pixels all the time, but the use of weekly layout rather than monthly is a brilliant shift.
