You do know that was time lapse? Lol. Not all storms are severe. I sure saw a lot of snow at 1:53. There's always a critic! Lol 🤦‍♀️

@Gardenagirl Thanks for stating the obvious ever so eloquently. Yes, we do know that it’s a time lapse. And whilst the ground has a full covering, it doesn’t look anything like a significant event. Note that there was never much of a buildup on the steps and the iron rails to the right of the screen. There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of gritting going on, people don’t seem desperate to clear it from their property and the snow can be seen going through numerous thaw and refreeze cycles, melting back considerably during the day. It’s a moderate snowfall at best; a storm doesn’t fit the physical clues that the footage provides.

I was surprised that a blizzard came through this late! The heat has been miserable this year in my state so I can't wait for the snow this December! I sweat easily and get tired in the heat, pretty easy to warm up than cool down man.

YES DUDE I live in New Jersey and we havent had a cold all year until recently when fall hit, I cant wait for winter because it will be the first time seeing snow in about a year. The last time I saw snow here was on december 23rd when the temp dropped from 53 to 11 and there was some snow but it all melted within about an hour or so because before the snow hit, it was rain but I am really hoping for a white christmas this year or just a snow day in general because I really miss it but I know we will get some snow soon.

I’ve experienced snow like this very similarly in Texas of all places. I would not stop snowing… just when you thought it was over nope.. here comes some more..

Regardless of how many times the snow fell, the paved surfaces were no longer cold enough to let it remain.

THIS is nothing. Started snowing around 9pm Sunday and kept snowing into the afternoon on Monday. Ended up with over 9 inches. Then dropped down below zero Tuesday and it dumped another inch on Tuesday and dropped down to around 3 degrees that night and Ice on top of the snow Thursday night. Few more flurries Friday, but it's been so cold there has almost no melting.

because we have dry air mostly not as much moisture... like if you were closer to the ocean. Which makes the snow heavy and wet.. as where here its dry light and powder like, thats why so many people come here to skii or snowboard up in snowbird area...
