Is there a way to access the MLS to see inventory and prices in certain buildings? Also, how much are interest rates on loans in Panama vs the States?

Hi Victor, you can hop into the MLS but not see all the inventory in each building, only the listings that are actually on the MLS. Similar interest rates right now, but usually Panama is higher by at least 100 basis points.

@PanamaequityRealEstate But there are no 30-year mortgages, correct? I heard they only go out to about 15 years, and you have to put down between 30-50%. Is that accurate?

Morning Luigi...I hear ya. Realtors always drinking from the Koolaid and trying to turn lemons into lemonade. My logic was that there will be less new inventory ever hitting the market. Listen to the report and it may make sense.

Whoa! Scary but hey, each to their own ;) I wouldnt want our next Pres to send the SPI or national police into La Asamblea to pass a law he is advocating for like Bukele did a few years ago. Or take us off the Dollar and on to Bitcoin :) Thanks for your comments though!

⁠@@PanamaequityRealEstateHow you doing, liked your report, but disappointed in your take on Bukele as well as his decision to allow Bitcoin as legal tender, you didn’t quite understand that part, he didn’t outlaw other fiat currencies. Competition in currencies is good for people, bad for governments and central banking.

Hay opciones pero no muchas en zonas centricas. Recomiendo fijar en las afueras de la ciudad de Panama, tipo Araijan o La Chorrera.
