I like the fabrics, but you know what it really needs? Some black linework birds with some yellow flower buds on a grey background. I jest, I jest. All joking aside, the fabrics are really lovely, and the thread is perfectly gorgeous. The project is not one I'd be likely to make; it does look like there's enough material to be able to use it in a different project so that's a plus. Perhaps I will feel differently about it in two weeks, when you do your follow up/completed item video. For me, there just isn't enough in this box to be worth the $40 (although as I've concluded before, I'm not really the target audience for this particular subscription). PS, we've already figured out that the fabrics come from JoAnn, and as their quilting cotton bolts vary from 40 to 45 inches wide, it explains why the white fat quarter is bigger than the pink.

I knew it was missing something! The fabric is beautiful, I’m hoping I’ll be more excited as I make it. I don’t think it’s a box for me either but I’m happy I satisfied my curiosity. After I finished filming, I also figured that the fat quarters were from different lengths so it’s not a big deal really. If you haven’t seen it yet, I think you’re going to enjoy this months Sewers club on Wednesday too!

When you compare the price of sewers club to this one , it is absolutely not worth .

HI - not impressed with their projects personally and won't renew after my 6 months are done. Colors are nice but I don't think there is it worth the cost.

Me too, I can mostly see where they are coming from, but the execution and value just isn’t there. I have 3 more months and am pretty sure I won’t be renewing

Just some constructive feedback. There are 6 minutes of talking before you actually open the box. It’s just too long, in my opinion

Thank you for expressing your opinion. In the 3+ years I’ve been doing unboxings, you’re the first to tell me you don’t like all the talking. I realize I’m long winded, I edit my own videos and often comment on it myself. But, I’m sorry to say, I’ll probably always chat a bit before getting to the unboxing. I like to let people know what the company is about and if there is any housekeeping to take care of first. Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed it, when I got to the part you cared about.
