Just watching the video is overwhelming. I cant imagine how it is being inside the box. Sooooo many issues. The equipment is very good to tolerate those conditions. Thanks for the video.

I walked into a KFC in Detroit and my foot went though the floor I was like WTF? The manager did not even care. Then I went to check the a/c I tap the disconnect with the back of my hand it was SMOKING HOT! I go down to the breaker panel, they have two lines going to a double pole breaker and the other one going to a single. It was so amazing I could not even get mad, I was baffled.

That has some patina to it, and I suspect it's going to get a few more years of use, the way things are right now.
@wd85572 жыл бұрын
American pickers would have loved the box with all that patina . That's what people are looking for. 500 I know I can get 1,200.

All I would need to repair that freezer is a cutting torch, a sawzall, and a sledge hammer.... what a pos. But I understand too Bill, they’re going to install a whole new system next month, just get it running temporarily for now...

Never seen a WI freezer with another door into a deeper compartment. Is it possible that the section you were in was originally the front WI cooler then later converted to freezer?

To those who have experience in the construction of these cold boxes.. do they all eventually end up in this state of disrepair? Or is it possible there were corners cut or mistakes made during construction?
@royamberg91772 жыл бұрын
if you seal it up on the outside so moisture can't get in from the moist outside. last really good

Freezer floors should have heating runs built in. (Either heat trace $$ or a boiler) so you don't get ice ruining your foundation.

@@KnoxPop Seen ICS walk-ins over fifty years old still in really good shape. But then they don't build them like they used to. BTW they were one of the first companies to make manufactured walk-ins, and they're based not too far from where I live.

Is it a common thing use water to defrost the electrical compartment? I’ve always wanted to, but never have.
@special_k-hvac2 жыл бұрын
As long as you're de-energized you're fine. As stated just make sure it's dry afterwards to prevent any shorts. I've done it a couple times myself.
