I ve tried multiple types of inserts and daily half hour is my most used. You hit it on the head. Each day is a fresh start for me. I move over what’s leftover from the last day. I use a categorical list to jot down weekly to dos and pull from it daily. I love that I get a fresh page daily.

I use daily inserts for busy workdays. I track my tasks (pomodoro / time spend on tasks) and use time-block for appointments, meetings, calls, admin and writing.

I love daily hourly layouts, they help me a lot! I have a couple of planning videos showing how I personally use them but basically they help me plan around my 9-5 work day, specially meetings and such

I only use daily inserts when I have a very busy day. This allows me to plan at a micro level that I feel I am not able to do from the “weekly” viewpoint. I am like you, I need that weekly overview as my guideline. However on those busy days I feel I need a little more structure to my day and the daily insert does that. Hope this helps…

Hello Kristina , I love your content and it has been super helpful as I am new to planning. I too struggle with daily inserts as they don't work for my life. I am a 47 year old environmental claims examiner, and through trial and error, i found that the Cloth and Paper daily vertical works for me. The layout is like a 2 per day and has just enough room for tasks, important times you need to be aware of for the day and notes. Hope this helps. Also, I relate to how you are feeling it took me too long to stop being hard on myself and put myself first. Stay strong and love you!
