I bought a C&P planner many moons ago and quickly realized that actual planners are not their strength. If you have the funds to invest try Gillio (I have several) or VDS (I have two). They are both European brands. The quality is amazing and they have a warranty. Gillio is a leather company so they do leather well. At VDS you can get a planner custom made to your specifications. ❤

First world problems

I used to love c&p but I’m taking a break… is a bit stressful with the sale events. I also bought the same planner and had the same issue with the leather. I’m in love with the color but not how it looks, especially being 160 dollars :(

Ditto on everything you said. I received an A5 planner in the quilted pattern and when I received it the rings were LAYING inside the planner not attached at all. They of course sent me a new one but it left a very bad taste in my mouth for C&P planners.

I found your channel when I was looking up Filofax Norfolk reviews/examples. I actually ended up buying a Norfolk in the personal size, and noticed that it does not have the same build quality issues even though it is also two main pieces of leather sewn together. I know the Norfolk does have some padding and cardboard (and likely glue as well) added for structure, which might eliminate any potential bubbles or airpockets.. but all of these notes just reaffirm the quality misses on the C&P Foundations covers. It really is a shame though, because I would rather support a smaller, WOC-owned company like C&P than Filofax. But this type of quality in the cover is the one that she stands by... and it's all just so..... disappointing(?) I don't know if those are the right words, but I totally agree with you and your review.

i loved my passion planner when i got one a few years ago! i'm debating getting one again, these covers are beautiful! I need something to help me juggle my small business, youtube planning and life. it's so easy to get lost with a million planning apps!! .. and now i want to add a physical planner into this mix LOL

If this helps you, I have started to use the dishwasher more often than washing by hands and using the I robot to vacuum the floor every other day. That way I can focus on cleaning my bathroom and mopping the floor on the weekends. With my kids getting older, I delegate this tasks to them to help out with small chores. I end up saving an hour or so of my day.

Most things are made in China as its too expensive to make in the US. They obviously dont really care about the quality, but you're right, if you out it side by side to your filofax, the filofax quality is so far above this planner. I would have sent it back and got refunded.
