I love the the hydrangeas behind the swing. And I personally like the bed the way you have it now. But to be fair, I am not the one mowing it. Love you lady! You are a joy to watch and learn from. Stacey

Danielle, you're such a blessing, and I always look forward to your posts. I agree, you definitely need to add some things that aren't so labor intensive. I can't believe that you do all of that by yourself, although it's clearly a labor of love. Yes, evergreens in the front are a great idea. Not only are they low maintenance, but they look appealing year round. When your time and budget permit, I'd suggest adding some around what I think is your back door, as well as around what I think is your garage, and strategically placed between you and the busy street. Not only will they add privacy, but they might help with the noise, too. Beautiful tour, as always 💚🌷💚

Always enjoy your videos and content which have inspired me in my own garden. I like the idea of an evergreen low growing hedge in the front of your property. It will look beautiful and be low maintenance, perhaps the idea for that front garden is plant only low maintenance, curb appeal plants so you rarely have to go there and do anything. Don't worry about your equipment and editing, etc. Your videos are great and you may not realize, but the information you share along with your videos is very helpful, useful and often times "new to me" information even for those of us who have been gardening all our lives...so it's not all about the equipment, it truly is the content. "Happy Gardening!" :)

I have thoroughly enjoyed your videos. One idea for the area behind the swing when you put in the hydrangeas is to put a walk path between them and the swing. This way you could enjoy your garden from a backside view. You do amazing gardening. I've gotten a lot of inspiration from you and watched as I spent several months with my father in his last days while on hospice. Thank you again for your time to share with others. I also love the fact that you share your tulips at the nursing home! :-)

Hi Miss D! You garden is a treat for my one functioning eye! Just had eye surgery #8. This Saturday was a rainy one so I decided to binge watch your garden tours. First off, l love that you are a pollinator certified garden & you leave valuable space for milkweed. Also, you have inspired me to sow more seeds in my garden. I also love the diversity in your garden-I’m not in your garden zone but it’s cool that tithonia also grows well where you live & one day, if I ever go up north I will grow a Ninebark. They’re so beautiful! Finally, keep up the great work & please show all areas of your garden, including those “farmy sides” like the compost pile.

Hello Danielle! Yes for the hydrangea hedge behind the swing! And look out for PW smokebush velvet fog, would be a great addition to your wonderful garden. If there were a place big enough in your "granny garden" near the tree stump I have a feeling your grandmother would love the addition of a so called wedding cake tree (which may not help with cutflowers) for the white garden. I cannot explain it, but immediately when I saw the tree stump it came to me. Or to either side of her chair a wheeping crabapple tree? I really enjoyed this tour, thanks for having me! Happy gardening, Hanni.

🌸Your garden is lovely💕! I so enjoy your tours. Thank you for all of your hard work and sharing the process online! Yes! Invincibelle hugging the swing is a great idea. I was going to suggest you plant some 'protective' shrubs right there. . In 'bare patches' of your borders, for example where you've got lilies planted, how about planting in some shallow root, spring blooming perennials, like Forget-me-nots? . Evergreens, hydrangeas (and a couple of tall-ish ornamental grasses?) would look good most of the year round in front of the house.

Danielle, I think the quality to your videos is just fine. The various camera shots from a distance and up close with your calm narration are just perfect and are just the right balance ! On a separate note I was actually smiling to myself because I just finished dividing my autumn joy sedum in the fall but I’m actually very tired of the plant and I am thinking of replacing it with the lemon one.
