Thanks Joshua! I enjoyed your recent video! It’s pretty funny I’ve ordered tree fern from that plant store. I didn’t realize they were brick and mortar

You should do a vlog on educational spotting carlablackiae against crystallinum. Using your plants and other IG pics. It's hard to see differences looking at it.

Thanks for the suggestion! The easiest way is the petioles. Carla are ribbed crystals are round. If you’re familiar with what luxurians or dressleri petioles look like, Carlas have a similar shape.

Your Wendlengeri is a gorgeous specimen. And your paps are really special too. I grow all mine in ambient conditions with no grow lights or added humidity and they always have a lot of personality, aka flaws. Haha. Thanks for sharing such amazing plants.

How long have you seen for your smaller seedlings to hit cataphyll? And do you leave the yellowing leaves? I always cut them off because I'm thinking it's diverting energy to something not doing well, but I may have made that up in my head.

It depends on the plant. Maybe 6-24 months. I usually leave yellowing leaves till they start to look mushy. The plant is able to suck back some of the mobile nutrients.
