April is Bowel Cancer awareness month: this is my story

In 2006, and again in 2018, I was diagnosed with #BowelCancer, aka #Colorectal cancer.
Through ileostomies, pulmonary embolisms, brain haemorrhages, Crohn’s disease, short bowel syndrome and more....this is my story.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. It’s really valuable. I’ve had similar experiences (in terms of symptoms) and always been told it’s nothing. You’ve given me a push in terms of always taking these things seriously. you just never know! And it’s not worth ignoring your body. Good to know you are on the up and up.
