In 2006, and again in 2018, I was diagnosed with #BowelCancer, aka #Colorectal cancer.
Through ileostomies, pulmonary embolisms, brain haemorrhages, Crohn’s disease, short bowel syndrome and more....this is my story.

Thank you for your forthright portrayal of a complicated medical history, but with the take-away message to always listen to your own body, never ignore changes, and question physicians who deny the seriousness of your symptoms!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. It’s really valuable. I’ve had similar experiences (in terms of symptoms) and always been told it’s nothing. You’ve given me a push in terms of always taking these things seriously. you just never know! And it’s not worth ignoring your body. Good to know you are on the up and up. I hope your check up went well.

Thank you for sharing. A relative of mine had colorectal cancer at 39 years. She wears a stoma and is in her eighties.
