This is one of my favorite versions of April, she was so badass and powerful, the psychic powers gave Jean Grey but the kunoichi training made her more like Psylocke

I genuinely cannot for the life of me understand the hatred for this version of April. I loved her so much as a kid and still do, getting to see her basically grow up and come into her own was fun in my opinion. Honestly, she was a victim of the shows writing more than she was a bad character.

Agreed, but, honestly the majority of the hate comes from Rise fanboys nowadays. Like, I get everyone can like different stuff, but saying something like 2012 April is Mary Sue or especially manipulative bitch is dumb. Oh, and the smaller part of hatred came from ones who couldn't jerk off on this April like on 87 one, but I don't consider these people take as anything valid. Regardless, 2012 April is still one of the best versions of this character in the franchise.

For me is when she tried to eat more than she can chew.Yeah she was getting trained by Master Splinter but she expected her to be invincible and can take on Karai someone who trained her whole life. Sometimes she can be useless and get in the way.
