You could also make change from your back to the bank pile. For example, for organizing instead of breaking the $20 with your one dollar challenge money to get the $19 to go to the bank, just put the $20 into the back to the bank pile and get $1 back from back to the bank. It might be less confusing that way.

Hi! I just subscribed. I am really trying to get into cash stuffing. I'm sure you have a video on it somewhere (if so, a link would be awesome), but I have problems with sorting my categories into High priority and Low priority. I also have so many categories because I am not a good money saver. I have always had problems in the past with not having the money I need to have when I need it. I just want to get something that sicks with me because budgeting is not something I have set as a habit. I'd like to see your categories and how you prioritize them. I'd be starting from complete scratch. My boyfriend, child, and I are currently in the process of moving 6 hours away from our current home where we pay so little in bills, to a city where it is super expensive. I will be living with my parents for a short period of time so we can get new jobs and save money, but getting started has always been such a hard thing for me to do. If you have any advice or tips/pointers, that would be great. Thank you so much and I apologize for such a LONG comment. :)

What a Great Idea to have buffer in checking account . I had no idea how to plane for online purchases . I am new to cash stuffing and what I have been doing is working but I always luv new ideas . Great vids and lots of useful information . Oh yea I am also doing the 100 envelope challenge to help save to finish baby step 3. So when my paycheck comes on the 1st and my rent comes out of my account on the 2nd do i wait to pull money out of my account? That is the thing that holds me up to start cash envelopes stuffing. My brain doesn't get the thought behind pulling money out and then 2 days later put it back in cause a bill comes out. 😅

But if you had money to spend on your debt card why are you pulling money out to replace it? And how do you budget how much you keep in your bank account ? I usually online shop out of convenience, so it’s not completely preplanned 😅 most of the things I get from Amazon or target, I could’ve gone into the store to get, but for convenience sake, ordered off of Amazon or online at target 🖤 we saved up to keep $1000 in our online buffer and I do better if I have actual cash so that I’m not constantly checking my bank account 😊

I personally spend the cash but sometimes if I order off Amazon or use my debit card, I take that cash out of the envelope to replenish my bank account 🥰

Hi! I am completely new to cash-stuffing as a concept. Is there a reason why people use larger binders as opposed to a small A7 binder they can use as a wallet? Are the larger binders meant to be kept at home?

Yes precisely. Some people don't want to walk around with a lot of money so the large binders keep the large amount and the wallet is keeping a little bit. French as first language so I hope I made sense to you 😅
