Queen Jane Seymour was the mother of Edward II and Henry VIII was his father. Anne Boelyn was the mother of Elizabeth I, her reign was known as the Golden Age. The other Queen Mary you are thinking of was Mary Queen of Scots cousin to Queen Elizabeth I, who had Mary Queen of Scots beheaded.

I'm from the Land of Nike, and it is actually pronounced like Nye-key. It's an American brand. I will add, though, that in the US we say "Uh-DEE-duss" for Adidas, which I'm very aware is wrong. I learned that from watching UK vloggers. We're all learning, right? 😉

Adidas is german. The first A is pronounced like the “a” in “bAth”. Di like in “DIzzy” and “das” like in “DUSty” Adidas 🙂 Hope this helps

I was also 29 when I had my first daughter, well actually daughters (twins). They'll turn 25 this year, time flies... My last name is pronounced like “baby”. There is a Raby Castle in the far northeast of England, in Darlington. No one named Raby ever lived in the castle. It is a gorgeous castle and well worth a visit. We stayed in the nearby market town of Barnard Castle which was just delightful.

ha ha - isn't it funny how you create back stories for the people you 'meet' on youtube - i had a whole 'he works in IT' backstory that I had clearly created for Dan in my head and I was surprised but also not surprised to hear he works in HR - makes sense as he is such an affable guy. It wasn't Mary, Queen of Scots. It was Mary Tudor. Mary T became queen, and while she was queen she threw her half sister Elizabeth into the tower. I don't remember enough about how all of it happened, 1967 (when I was into all of this) was a long time ago. 😀
