EB is so brave! I have epilepsy was diagnosed at 6 months old, had blood tests every 6 months as a kid, and I had brain surgery at 14. Currently I have been seizure free since 2007. Going through something difficult as a kid makes you mature and grow up more quickly.

I had the same thing when I was her age and now at 33 I still have it..however the pain is manageable because I workout and make sure I do leg day every day because I know if I skip the darn pain comes back. So when she is old enough to workout with you have her do some leg exercises. Just a little tip 😊

EB is so brave! We went through years of Hospital visits and major surgeries with one of our kids. I think they sadly eventually just accept that that is their life. Our daughter is 26 now and said the other night that she has blocked a lot of it out. She has said when someone wants to back out of something scary or nerve wracking that if she can go through what she went through we can suck it up and do what ever it is we are wimping out. We just do it because what she went through was 100 times worse.

EB is just a little legendary champagne to go though everything she has been though in the last 2 half year she just seems to surprise me every time because she get all upset but then when it comes time to do what she has to do she takes it in her stride and gets the job done she is a lot braver then she thinks she is EB ur a true little hero 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

My daughter had a dental procedure and they saw Cheerios in her blanket...and wouldn't do the procedure that day. 🤦 So we had to come back. So no fun for sure. EB you're a champion 🏆 ❤️

My niece has grown up going to the Dr because she has a heart condition, starting with heart surgery at 2 weeks old. She also has autism and saver asthma. I have taken her to some Dr appointments, and they always say how cute it is that she knows what the Dr is going to do next (like listening to her heart) she doesn’t cry at blood draws or injections, so I’m told she is so easy and brave. I’m so proud of her, but I always think about the reason she does all of these things and I feel so sad. She is 7. I also watched my son be put under for a brain MRI and I will honestly say I can’t get that vision out of my mind, he just went completely limp, it was scary. I would like to say EB is incredibly strong and brave, but don’t forget that you both are too, it’s very hard mentally having a child with an illness ❤️❤️ love to you and your family.

Getting an MRI is not fun, so proud of EB - it's great she was able to do that, and put to sleep because am MRI is *very* noisy. I get one every single year (documented proof I have brain damage 😂, I mean lesions in my brain from Multiple Sclerosis).

I have a genetic disorder. I have a lot of medical issues. Due my genetic disorder I have a lot of doctors appointments and procedures. This last procedure was so painful and so mentally hard for me. I still get very nervous at medical appointments. I am still taking my little bear to all of my procedures and appointments. I have to schedule my MRI of my ankle and that will help my surgeon plan my surgery.

I had 3 edg’s one in 2018 found out I was gluten free and 2 last year my esphous was Stretched and a conlosply in 2019 found out I had ibs and was dairy free. So I’m brave my first year I was Nervous.

Why did they put her under? She’s old enough that they probably could’ve given her a TV show or something to watch to keep her focused while they were doing it. I know kids her age and younger where they were able to do that.

Even though she might be old enough, it’s easier just to put them under do it and get it over with so they don’t have her move and have to redo it and takes a while and she would probably get restless and one wrong move would mess it up and you have to do it again
