@@tomdidit4216 Thanks Tom, what year is your RS? Mine is 2007 but contains a TPS on the carb, i notice your's doesn't i presume it's 2006?

My RS is a 2010 model. It comes standard with a PHBH28 carb. It’s ok, but tricky to fine tune. I’ll hopefully be swapping the original 28 carb with a 34mm soon (pending parts delivery). Is your RS running ok with the TPS on the carb?

@@tomdidit4216 I'm thinking about changing to the 34mm too, i've got the VHST28CD which is known to be a pain to tune. It has a TPS on the top which causes these annoying EFI warning lights, from what i've read online the TPS has very little if any input in the performance or ignition timings and can be removed, however the warning light bugs me... i think they introduced these features due to Euro 3 emissions regulations at the time

Yes and yes. I’ve heard the same about your carb. A new carb does cost a lot of money, however it really open these bikes up.

Hi Trained. Yeah, the videos are coming along now. I remember you were one of the first subscribers back in the early days👍 Not rebuilding the bike, just being pedantic and over serving it….. I promise to make some riding videos soon. I’ve just installed a new 16T front sprocket and currently in the process of rebuilding my VHSB34LD carb. Probably time for a dyno run soon??😀 Cheers

Hey Paul. 16T front and 40T rear. Forums suggest it’s an ok mix acceleration and top speed… Eurobrit are working on my order. Fingers crossed they can help with all parts needed.

Today I cleaned out my 2 stroke oil filter which is located in the oil reservoir, it was a complete mess. Maybe you should chech it too and make a video about it :)

Hi, I do charge the battery now and then, using my Motobatt charger. Just to top it up. As you have noticed, I haven’t ridden much lately so good to keep it on trickle charge.
