Aprilia SXV 550 walk around and soundcheck

Just a little walk around my sxv after renovation. Anodized rims and clamps, new sticker set by racestyles, VDB seat, red renthal fatbar and carbon fiber wrapped frame and swing. Sound by silmoto. Hope you like it!

The SXV is one of the perfect supermoto, but yours ... it is THE perfectiest supermoto ever ! Lol i love it so much ! Have you ever had engine issues, cuz' apparently it is an engine that requires a lot of maintenance

+Skorpixx941 Haha thanks man! Really appreciate :) Had fun building this bike back in the days and it came up looking just the way I imagined. Glad other people like it too. I've got a lot of shit from the headlight/mudguard combo tho haha. Really miss the bike.. I was lucky and didnt have any issues with it, friends with KTMs had a lot more issues than me. I just changed oils and filters and drove the machine like it was the last day on earth. Btw youtube thought your comment was trash or something so thatswhy I didnt notice it earlier

yup, it's from exc 125, the newer one (2008->)

lewishall14 haha nope. location of the dashboard on stock sxv is so handicaped that im pretty sure there is no headlight-mask that would fit directly. on this video you can see how i've moved my dashboard so it's mostly on top of the handlebar. after that the mask fits perfectly, at least with this fender (acerbis evo)

Pretty much the same as with all other big supermotos, its just a bit more unreliable. Depends on the yearmodel. 2007s burn starters for breakfast, 2006 has gasket problems etc. Mine is 2008 and has been working very well

Ei oo kyllä mikään paras paikka kysyä,mutta oon ite aatellu kans tommose pyörän hankkia,ootko miten öljyjä ynm vaihtanu?

500km välein manuaalin mukaan koneen sekä laatikon öljyt. Tullut vaihdettua 400-500km kohdalla, silloin kun ollu aikaa. Muuta kulutusosia ei pyörään oo pitänyt vaihtaa, paitsi kytkinlevyt, kun edellinen omistaja oli ilmeisesti pitänyt väärää öljyä laatikon puolella, koneen puolella onneksi oikeaa. Helvetin nirsoja vehkeitä öljyjen kannalta

nice bike you got there! is it easy to install by yourself? original wires or replaced everthing? kinda wondering for doing it myself. ive seen some ktm headlights on wish (cheap replicas) and it looks easy to install, with just a connector but where did you placed the ingnition? (where you put your key in)

Thanks! Yeah it was pretty easy. Removing the ignition switch took a while as its not supposed to be removed easily but aside from that it was simple. I chanced the position of the ignition switch by only attaching it with one bolt in a way it is a bit to the left and much closer to the handlebar. You'll figure it out if you decide to go that way. The halogen light went smoothly to the ktm mask and there is still plenty of room for wires. Screwed couple of holes to the side of the mask and attached it with cable ties. Dashboard is attached with little metal strips that are bolted on to the handlebar holders (dont rly know the proper word for them). Hard to explain but easy to do haha.
