Aprilia Tuareg 660 - THOR skid plate assembly tutorial by GpMucci (UPDATE: Read description)

This is an excellent skid plate!! The lines of it flow perfectly with the fairing on the bike that goes around the gas tank/radiator/air filter. These lines align perfectly both side to side and front to back. It looks so much better than the pathetic factory skid plate and greatly increases the protection, while only adding minimal weight. I have the Martian Red bike and black skid plate. BTW, it mounts and works perfectly with both the Hepco and Becker tank guard bars and the Hepco and Becker center stand.

I got an extra bracket for installation to Aprilia crash bar, but what side is your extra bracket goes? Right or left side of motorcycle? Come with no instructions on that ?? Thanks

You have your left and right brackets labeled on that photo (at 2:25), but later in the video I can clearly see you putting the brackets on the opposite side of the bike compared to how you had them labeled (at 2:56, and at 3:12)??? That also makes me confused regarding the longer bolt and spacer as labeled in the photo at 2:25. You have the shorter bolt and spacer labeled as the longer one, and with the confusion as to which bracket goes on which side, it's very confusing making sure you have the correct spacer and bolt with the correct bracket on the correct side of the bike. Can you clarify??? There were no instructions included, only a parts list.

That part is not exposed and at risk, I made it for the T7 because is extremely exposed

Applausi! Bel paracoppa ma Non avevo capito che era una gara di velocità di montaggio, come tutorial è inutile, per trovare le viti bisogna andare a tentativi, le viti per i tamponi sono troppo corte, forse perché non c'è nemmeno un foro svasato? Per quel prezzo poteva anche starci un foglio con 4 disegni.... Non ho ancora finito di montarlo vediamo se ci saranno altre sorprese

Ciao, onestamente è la prima lamentela sul montaggio del paracoppa Tuareg da quando l'ho realizzato quindi arriva un po' inaspettata, non ci sono viti troppo corte.

@@gpmucci7508 la mia voleva essere una critica costruttiva, non una lamentela perché il paracoppa si potrebbe montare nella metà del tempo se non si dovesse andare a tentativi, le viti dei tamponi sono della lunghezza giusta, si dopo aver svasato i fori (forse una dimenticanza)
