Thanks Griff, are you able to do a vid on replacing the fuel pump on a Gen 1 especially using an aftermarket - Mine has a longer body? As well as what to use if your fuel pump rubber damper/spacer has turned into playdough - Cheers.

Is the gen 2 pump similar to gen 1 pump,i need gen 1 but the vid shows gen 2

It is similar. It’s not the same though. The teabag filter is out in the open on our gen 1s making it easier to access. The hard part about the job is really getting TO the fuel pump to even take it out. Then carefully getting it out because the gasket is caked to the tank and it comes off the screws at an angle. Careful with the tiny metal cylinders that are supposed to go inside the gasket holes around each screw. Place the gasket deliberately back around the pump with the metal cyclinders in each hole before reinstalling, after you service it.
