APRS: QSY To received APRS contact.

Super helpful video. Owned the radio for a while and didn't know of this capability. I find myself wondering if the information being beaconed, with the repeater information, needs that information in a certain place on the test message for that to work. For instance I noticed that the text portion had the frequency and other details in a particular order. Figure that, in order to QSY with the button, that sequence of the information needs to be there, but not really sure.

If you don't know Q codes .. Think i'm gonna QRT and QSY. New Hams havn't got a clue. WOW

@@voyager1104 Oh its not so bad with me ;-) Not quite new (11years) Just did not know which conditions must be to make it work for me :-) Some people place the frequency in the APRS text but not in the right way and then QSY function do not work under this conditions :-) QSL? ;-)

Thanks for this. I guess I missed the piece in the manual about having to be in VFO mode. Wish it worked regardless of V or M mode but glad to know now how it works. 73!

Yes You can set it in the menu

I tried and it doesn't seem to work, even though there's a "QSY" button on the screen.
