Your numbers may need an update. You said Aptera has a burn rate of $4.7M based on previous years data. More recently, Chris A has stated that the burn rate for Aptera at this time is more like $1.4M. They also allude to being beyond the capacity of crowdfunding and are concentrating on institutional or soveregn investors. They also said that Aptera becomes cash flow positive after selling only six thousand vehicles per year. The co-CEO's learned some hard lessons from the first iteration of Aptera, and have become successful elsewhere before restarting the company in 2019. They will not lose control of the cap table and stay in control of the direction of the company as they drive to production. I am looking forward to reports of the trip to Abu Dhabi, and taking delivery of my signature ride sometime in 2025. Go Aptera, the market is primed for solar mobility !

They have already cut costs by releasing a few employees who likely wanted to leave already. Now that BinCs have been completed there is no costs coming from Italy until production starts. There may be purchases for some parts to finish the production intent vehicles. I know they are purchasing some manufacturing line machines to at least partially complete the production line. This comes from the California Grant (note, this was a grant, not a loan) that required match funding. They received more than the $20M in matching funds through the Accelerator funding so that $21.9M is being used to buy production equipment as that is what this is to be used for. I am not overly concerned about them succeeding, until they get to 6,000 per year which I assume will happen within a year, if any of the angel investor funding is accepted and not composed of any poison pills. I am glad Aptera is likely to get to profitability prior to the need to obtain debt financing.

@@robinpettit7827- I can think of a major part. The aluminum frame. The bink is worthless unless there is that frame to have it sitting on. I wonder where the frame is coming from? They have been tight lipped about the major component for the aptera.
@robinpettit78275 ай бұрын
@@billsmith5960 I know the frame is integrated there, not sure if it is made in Italy.

@@robinpettit7827 - What do mean by integrated there? Little if any information as to who makes it and where it's coming from.

I have recommended that Aptera do a Regulation D ‘syndicated’ offering. Maybe in the order of $50-$85 million..

Has anyone counted the number of times the word "may" was said in this video? It would give a very different impression if everytime that word is said, the listener translates that into the more accurate statement "may or may not". Don't get me wrong, speculation is good for people to hear all opinions before making up their ming to invest or not. It would just be nice if people called out their forward looking opinions as opinions to avoid people misunderstanding them as forward looking facts.

Thanks for pointing that out. And don't worry, I didn't get you wrong. It was indeed meant to be opinions and future videos will try to clearly distinguish facts from opinions
