That's a great performing drum chipper. Pretty much everything available at retailers here in the USA has discs, which don't do as well as the drum (at least in the under 20hp range).

Great little chipper. I have the hornet chipper I've had tree surgeons take the pee but then amazed how much will go through it think they are the way forward

We have the smaller 2.5" version and its fantastic, Goes into a back garden and chips next to the tree, so no dragging ;) It takes woody branches easy but if its very fine leafy brash like Silver birch or Tamerix it blocks the chute, So i fabricated a wider chute and you can throw anything in. They are made by Greatbull in China.. Mine is branded as a "Hornet"

Yes it is still working fine. I have made some modifications on the pulley so that it will fit the axel on the drum better.

I can not rember the blade thickness. Think it´s about 8-10mm. Are you going to make your own blades for a chipper?

Hej Søren. Den virker stadigvæk. og har gjort det rigtig godt til prisen. Da det er en "kinamaskine" skal man være opmærksom på at få smurt div. bolte, skruer, lejer og stik., ligesom det er en rigtig god ide, jævnlig, at gå maskinen efter og få strammet skruer/bolte da de har det med at rasle løse. I højsæsonen bliver den brugt meget og kører tit flere timer i træk. Alt i alt har jeg været glad for den, og havde hurtigt tjent sig hjem. Har dog investeret i en professionel maskine nu og der er væsentlig forskel!

Ja det er rigtigt. Den bliver også solgt under flere forskellige navne og kan bl.a. fås i England med en Briggs og Stratton motor, og drejeligt udkaster rør, hvilket i den grad mangler på den gule!

Haha ... you will be surprised how well that little chipper works! It takes branches up to 4 ", just make sure the blades are sharp. + It can go through narrow garden gates. I love it..
