i cannot believe i've never heard of this guy! i've got a notebook filled with people of magick, with 100 or so names in there, research i've gathered, but not Apuleius! --this is one of the reasons i like your channel, all other channels with Roman History feel the same, and repeat the same stories, battles, emperors, etc... yours has Roman Period stuff that i've never known before. -thank you!

First of all he was berber by ethnicity so an indigenous of Africa . In his written he literally consider himself as a gaetulian- numidian so idk why you are saying that lol. The majority of people at this time in North Africa were Berber romanized. Saint Augustin is an other exemple of berber romanized like Apuleius
