Wow! Really impressive. As an architectural lighting designer myself, I'm constantly amazed by the knowledge photographers and cinematographers have about light. They're proof that there's a lot for me to learn.

Great presentation Tim. I really enjoyed it live and I’m so glad that I could rewatch it. The idea that three separate lights could register the same on the meter whether they were the same color or red green and blue, was mine blowing. It really helped me see light in a different way. Thanks again.

really awesome stuff - I’m already working on something that I do with these infinitbars - using unreal engine to do contact lighting using a reverse camera pixel map, so the lighting is correct on the subject while the main camera provides the background… because the cameras are back to back that should give me a real world lighting sandwich that should match the virtual world even as I move that two cameras together as a pair

4:40 Tim, ducking under an unprotected gobo arm at eyeball stabbing height: "Nothing here is scary..." 🥎😂 Seriously, though, great talk!
