this is honestly one of the best hunter raid pulling guides i've ever come across. I was able to successfully pull AQ40 for my first time just off this guide alone. thanks a ton and please do a naxx one!

worth noting these are prtty conservative pulls If pushing pace, its never this 'cut n dry'/clean But a good guide as an intro to easy pulls. But you cna't be this conservative if the aim for the guild is a fast run. Also no reason not to pull eradicators with viper sting Scorpids can 1 shot you if both aggro on to you, easily with double volley. Worth a note. FAP's are the cheapest option to save you on princess trash. Cheaper than poison resistance. What happens is when the charge happens or 'tries' to happen it causes the poison to just fall off. Some weird interaction. Fap > elixir. Worst case you can also keep noxxion trinket on, save yourself another consume too Eyes of the beast is still superior on trash after twins, because you can keep your body out of los inside the room so that you dont get a slayer flying on you form miles away and causing another pack to chain to the pull. Same can happen if you're running your pet back rather than letting the pack kill it Just heard you briefly mention it. Its not really the death thats the issue, its the stationary slayer whilst it flays...and it can do it to a pet moving back to the room too, hence letting pet die.

Oh also, eyes pulling the 2 packs near Ouro can drasticlaly speed things up if they are far away in their patrol. Send pet after them, let pet die. Res it up as they are running to the raid. Given they patrol at quite a slow pace.

Yes, I would like to complete my AQ40 tanking guide. Unfortunately the guild I was tanking for has disbanded. As soon as splits start up, I will finish that guide!

Nice one! Also yes, Eye of the Beast is definitely underused by most hunters. And although it causes a slight delay in pet response, which could case some double pull after twins on it own (also been there), if you cancel Eye before the pet reaches the pack from about 20 yards away, you can issue attack command which makes the pet more responsive. I found it definitely useful and consistent.

Agree pulling as hunter in Aq40 is not an east job. i always double pull the pack before huhuran. My RL is not happy .. Sorry to point out there is few weakness in your pull 1) Did not feign death after you pull. You may get unlucky if tank's taunt is resisted 2) The pack after Twin Emp. should be pull using eye of the beast . You stand at the door and use eye of the beast it is too risky if pulling like normal

came here after chain pulling two anubisath defenders and earning insults of world buffed warriors in a pug. thanks for the guide another tip from me is if anything goes wrong at cthun trash be in a position where you can quickly feign death so nobody in your raid gets in combat.
