@@MrBowater u have helped me so much to prepare for the exam so i think its fair to tell you how it went. overall i think it went great! i panicked a bit at the start so i had to go back to those questions at the end and on one of the 6 mark questions i got stuck but the rest was great. i ended up choosing to disagree with the governments decision only because i could write more with that opinion.

Should be alright with all your knowledge from paper 2 as well as the pre-release. Need to make sure you consider unseen fieldwork. Check out AQA website: www.aqa.org.uk/subjects/geography/gcse/geography-8035/assessment-resources

Just a quick last minute question, for a six marker where it asks if you agree with a given statement or not (eg. "We need a system that is easy to use and cost-effective..." Do you agree and explain your answer.) , do you have to give both sides or would I use the same technique for paper 1&2 6 markers? Also, for 9 marker on should the incinerator proposal go ahead, would my structure work? Intro, arguments for, arguments against, conclusion. Should I also bring in alternatives for combating waste issues? Thanks.

I would probably try to present a balanced discussion from both questions. Acknowledge both the positives & negatives. For the last point I would probably refer to the Waste Hierarchy on how we should approach the issue in the future. Good luck for tomorrow!

Paper 1 = 88 marks - 43% Paper 2 = 63 marks - 30% Paper 3 = 56 marks - 27% Just go in and do your best. Good luck!

When you say the booklet is blank what do you mean? We got told we get jt in the exam with all the maps and infomation it in it use for our answers. So we need to remember all that information beucase the booklet will be blank????

When I say "blank" I mean without your notes on it. You will be given a fresh copy of the booklet in the exam room. Pupils have been confused before thinking they could take their own copy with all their own notes on it. Hope that clears it up.

you said that they removed the section where we go out and do our own fieldwork investigation but my school did end up doing a local sort of thing where we went out and explored traffic management. will i need to use this in the exam? or will there ONLY be generic fieldwork questions. do i use my own study in these generic questions? thanks

There was no "REQUIREMENT" but that doesn't mean you couldn't. The experience will be useful when answering questions about fieldwork. You will have a better understanding. The style of questions will not ask you for information on your own study.
