Great video, just one question how would the incinerator impact the rural urban fringe, as i think it would push it back but what are the impacts of this?

Would it take up more greenfield space? Would it create more traffic in the area? Would the traffic lead to further road improvements and maybe losing more greenfield space? Would this impact air quality in the area?

Hey Mr B, for the 9 mark question that you suggested might be on the exam, could you talk argue that you agree and disagree so you can talk about the positives and negatives, or should you stick to just either agreeing or disagreeing?

Unfortunately you can't. As it's for the official exam series it is only available on hard copy sent directly to schools. Speak to you teachers if they haven't handed it out yet. They are probably just waiting until after the holidays to go through it.

When I say "blank" I mean without your notes on it. You will be given a fresh copy of the booklet in the exam room. Pupils have been confused before thinking they could take their own copy with all their own notes on it. Hope that clears it up. You are not "revising" you are preparing. You will find the exam a lot easier if you fully understand the booklet. Go through the booklet and highlight key information. Form an opinion. Do you agree that the proposal was rejected? Write a full response. Write your own mark scheme or a "post-it note" mark scheme. What should you include for 7-9 marks, 4-6 mark, 1-3 marks? Peer mark a friends response.

Haven't considered this question. Pre-Release = 40 marks - around 40 mins??? Fieldwork = 16 marks - around 20 mins??? Please make sure you look through the entire paper before starting so you can pace yourself. Good luck!

This exam was designed so pupils could evaluate a recent geographical issue. As geography is always changing they decided to create an information booklet each year that could be adapted to what was going on in the world. This year they chose waste management in Waterbeach. They will ask you questions about this issue and what your opinion is. Considering all the evidence in the booklet you have to demonstrate your understanding. The schools have had hard copies of the booklet since 22nd March. They should of shared this with you at somepoint and provided some sort of the revision activities.

I've triple checked the Site of proposed waste incinerator and I believe that the 6-fig grid reference is 4889 not 4889 as said in the answers. still thanks for a great visualisation of the resource.
